When I think of Elvis, I think of…
- His Music: A Little Less Conversation is my favorite song
- His Home: Floor-to-ceiling carpeting in the Jungle Room, the original man cave
- His Favorite Meal: Hot peanut butter and banana sandwiches
So, while I have no need for a King cave, I thought I would honor the 76th anniversary of the King’s birthday by picking out something cool for my new apartment. I considered buying a Velvet Elvis, also known as a Velvis. But in the end, I had burning love for this vinyl decal I found on Etsy.
I love this ode to to the King rendered in crisp black and white doing what he did best. It comes in various sizes, including life size, which is how I like my Elvis art. What better tribute for a man who was larger than life.
By the way, Food Network has a great recipe for Elvis-inspired pancakes. Yum!
