The Consumer Electronics Show is wrapping up today in Las Vegas.

Earlier this week, Samsung unveiled three new ultra-thin televisions at CES. While they look wonderfully futuristic with barely-there bezels, I can’t help feeling a bit nostalgic for old wooden console TVs.
Curious, do you think these HDTVs would work with all home designs?

As televisions get larger and thinner, I am reminded of "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury.
I will have to reread that. These advances in technology and entertainment also make me think of his short story/radio play – The Veldt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSoigRHHNLM
with pictures like that you could fit it into any style
I love your name,my oldest daughters name is Carmen Antoinette.
It is so thin and great picture, I don't see how it would not fit in any home decor.
It totally would fit into any decor it practically looks like a picture on a wall.
Our family would love this new TV we are in desperate need of new TV's
I still don't get the point of a TV that is 0.5" deep when your still have a cable box that is 10" deep and you need a TV cabinet that is 18" – 21" deep to hold your 19" deep surround sound receiver. I see way too many of my friends and customers drop a lot of money on their TV's when they could have saved a bundle by buying a properly sized 1080p LCD or LED screen.
PS: Before you go out and buy a 60" TV, make sure you get the correct size TV based on your viewing distance. Bigger isn't always better. Here is a guide that I wrote up that is pretty helpful (sorry for the link to our own site, I know it seems a bit cheesy to do that): http://designinsidechicago.com/what-size-hdtv-is-…
