Wondering how to deal with the hard-to-hide cables and cords that accompany modern technology?

Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day shared her turquoise-tinged solution: a corner armoire turned home office space. She converted this used Ikea piece she found on Craigslist with some simple hardware and paint. (The color is Benjamin Moore’s Casco Bay.) A great solution for tucking away computer equipment and office supplies when they’re not in use.

What a clever idea! I like the way the space inside is organized as well, and the happy color is perfect for a room that obviously doubles as a children's play space. Great job, Jordan!

This is a wonderful idea for rooms with little space. I have a grandson that is ten and his mother (my daughter) IS HAVING the usual issues with homework, I wonder if he had a bright and cheery workspace such as this one if it would be a place that would invite him in to do what he needs to? Ha, there are several ideas on this subject; however, I believe that the vivid colors we see used on inexpensive and used items can give a chic and sophisticated appeal! Keep doing this, it excites me.

Great idea! I loved having my own space like this when I was a kid. Maybe she could even involve him in painting and decorating it so he feels some ownership of it.

Wonderful way to use a repurposed old piece of furniture! It looks like a very user-friendly workspace when open, and I love that it can be completely "tidied up" when the workday is finished by simply closing the doors.

This could be a great weekend project with a little bit of patience and elbow grease, I think I could do this.

In between me and my husband we’ve owned much more MP3 players through the years than I can count, such as Sansas, iRivers, iPods (basic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few a long time I’ve settled down to one line of players.
