Yippee! I love Crabtree & Evelyn. I actually grew up on their lily of the valley scents. Truly heavenly! I do trade out old soaps for new ones when guests arrive. There's nothing like opening a great smelling, new soap when you are staying somewhere far from home. It can give you comfort. This can also give guests a mini spa-like experience. I would be so stoked to be picked for this!!!

Guests that come to visit are special but no more special than my family. My family enjoys wonderful soaps and lotions every day so the guests will too.

  3. dmann says:

Absolutely! I love to put out new soaps for guest. However I'm always changing my soaps, lotions and candles out. Especially seasonal sents.

I love the smell of newly opened packages of soap and I know my guest do too. I purchase different kinds of soap on all my travels; found beautiful ornate soaps in Germany and France that I do proudly display, often with the same scent in hand lotion. I have many items from Crabtree & Evelyn and my guest do compliment often on the great choices of soaps I display in each of my bathrooms.

Our Guest Bath has special soaps all the time that only guests use- our son gets his baths in there, but no one else uses that bathroom, so we just keep it ready for guests all the time.

I've been using Crabtree & Evelyn products forever, having been raised using them. I do put out new, special soaps and lotions for my guests. I love something new to try when I am visiting and it makes me feel that my host wants me to enjoy their home. I want my guests to have the same feeling when visiting me.
I would love to try the new scent. It sounds wonderful and the type of scent I prefer.

I love their scent and do trade out for guests-seasonal or not. It makes the bath so fresh and fragrant also. I think my dog even likes it-LOL!!!!!

With Crabtree and Evelyn products I am always sure they will feel good on my skin; they are top of the line. However, though I do trade out when guests arrive, I, sadly, have nothing as nice as this product to be able to put out…sigh. But, one day maybe. For now I just use samples.

If I have something special, I'll put it out and spruce up the bath. Generally, though our guests use what we use.

  10. Yes. I like to make the areas of my house that the guests will be using very special for them. Our families are all out of state, so I know that when they visit, it takes a big effort on their part to get here to spend time with us. Adding fresh flowers and new personal care products lets them know that I appreciate them so much more!

Absolutely! I love to make my guests feel welcome like they are staying at a "B & B." I even pair up a basket of essentials that they may have forgotten, some scented candles, an eye mask, ear plugs, linen spray, even a good book for some night time reading….and not to sound too obsessive, I match scents to the time of year we are in…for example: Spring/Flowers, Summer/Citrus, Fall/warm & spicy, Winter/Crisp………I just don't want them to stay for too long….LOL

I change my soaps out as soon as the scents need to be refreshed. I like to make everyone feel welcome whether they are a frequent guest or an out of towner!

I always put out special soaps and lotions for my guests. They may like them and buy them for them selves. My six yr old granddaughter gets a big kick out of this because she loves to try the different soaps and lotions I put out and the smell of the candiles. I also put out fresh flowers and magizines. I want to be a special visit.

our guess get fresh everything, that way they are treated special and it seems to always make them want to come back over, and over and over.

  15. Deb says:

Yes the guests are treated special with fresh new smells.

  16. leah says:

yes- I consider my family members as guests when they come over and I like to make sure everything is special!

  17. Sandy says:

I always trade out everday soaps and lotions for my overnight guests. I want these guests to feel really special while visiting so that they will return for that B & B feel without the costs.

Always — New products, fresh towels, linens, candles, books and perhaps a guidebook to the area all say "welcome."

I'm ashamed to admit this…but I've never tried Crabtree and Evelyn products. This would be a great
time for me to do so…since my daughter will be bringing friends with her home from college next month
and I would love to make it special for them.

  22. MulliganMom says:

It depends on who is visiting. If my Mother-in-Law is visiting, I certainly do change out the soap in the bathroom to nice guest soaps, one of my favorites is La Source from Crabtree and Evelyn. I love the clean smell. My husband gets it for me for Christmas. If my brothers are visiting, they get whatever is left over in the shower. I do save the best for the ones who will enjoy it a little more.

  23. Jessica says:

I like to keep "special" soaps & lotions in my guest bathroom all the time. I make sure to change them up if I know a soon-to-be-guest has a favorite.
