I love your look! Could you build a DIY rustic water feature for a bathroom wall? I would love to build something for my wall but need help in knowing how to make it…
I really love all the DanMade projects, and this bookshelf might be one of my faves! Reclaimed furniture is fabulous, so much more personality than brand new out of the box stuff. Keep posting these – they are so inspiring!
I think you’d actually need 8 optional angle brackets… Great post! I would LOVE one of these in my house! I’d want to get the finish just right; rough up the boards and make it look really industrial.
Love this shelf set. Would look amazing in some of the Santa Fe style homes we have here in Scottsdale.

Mike, thanks so much! I will be purchasing one today!
Amazing once again what easy ideas can become something so unique! Dan does a great job of explaining every step. Keep it going, we want MORE!!!!!!
Ah! I love this! I am on the lookout for wood like this now, for sure!
This book self is looks very beautiful and dashing. The best thing of its is, you can move it very easily from one place to other, and its colour is very beautiful and amazing.
i love it nice and simple:D
I'm totally in love! It's so cute and shabby chic! I can imagine it in a mudroom, the bottom two shelves could be used for shoes and the other three could be used for hats, gloves and scarves stored in wicker bins. I love repurposing! A bookshelve doesn't have to be used for books!<3
What size are the black galvanized pipes, and did you purchase them with the threads, or have them threaded at the store? Also, could you add locking casters to the bottom? Last, if wider shelves are desired, would you recommend metal X bracing in the back?
Should have asked what length are the black galvanized pipes!
What species of wood is that?
Just sick! Great job man. Now you said you just used clear polyurethane over the wood and no color stain at all correct?
yea i agree this is a great piece but has anyone priced out what it costs to build this? i have.. you need 32 flanges @ approx $4 per piece; 16 18inch threaded pipes @ approx $6 per piece which is $228 before you even buy the most expensive material- the reclaimed wood. that can be as high as $7 a linear foot where i live. add on the the cost of poly, and screws and it could end up costing and easy $400-450 not including the time it takes. ouch
