One of the things I love so much about the community of blogs and bloggers I follow is happily stumbling upon beautiful images I most likely would’ve never found on my own. I spotted this remarkably sunny room on Lolalina who found it on Today I Love who found it on a dutch photographer’s site (and she told two friends…and so on and so on!).

The unexpected beauty in the exposed building materials – with their brick red, gray and bright turquoise – is highlighted so wonderfully by the ultra-white walls, floors, and the full sunlight.

Small world…
If I am not mistaken, this room in picture is the neiburg of my brother's next door.
If you want to have an idea of what it looks like inside (my brothers house) and what kind of reno-deco I have worked for a 9month period on this project in the Neitherlands, … http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_1D829MW5M

Small world, indeed. Your project is lovely!
Wow Kim you are awesome ! talk about a project what a challenge but you did it "congrats"
What a great room!
Where is it in Holland? I'd love to see it.
The contrast between the exposed brick and the elegant interior is a design triumph for you.
I think that it was the right thing to do to preserve a little bit of the original building and exposed brick.
