Can cookware and utensils serve as the center of style in your kitchen? Yes, with help from celebrity-chef Rachel Ray. Rachael’s line of cooking tools pulls double duty — as sanity-saving gadgets and as gorgeous pieces you’d won’t need to shove in the cabinet as soon as the doorbell rings. (We’re looking at you rusty, dented cookie sheet.)

We’ve partnered with the Food Network Store to bring Rachael’s super-smart (and super-stylish) kitchenware to Freebie Fridays. We’re giving away two of the most-wanted Rachael Ray products. First, there’s her Chocolate Casseroval (4.25 qt.), perfect for serving yummy goodness right out of the dish. (Breakfast casserole, tater tot casserole, chicken casserole, tuna casserole — well, maybe not tuna casserole.) It’s accompanied by one of Rachel’s Blue Stripe Moppine Oven Mitts, an uber-absorbent mitt/kitchen towel combo. Cool, yes? Answer this week’s question before 12/11c Monday, February 28, for a chance to win this stylish duo.
This week’s question: What’s the handiest, good-looking kitchen gadget you’ve ever owned?

My favorite best looking kitchen gadget is my food processor/blender combo. I use it for everything from chopping to slicing to pureeing. Dinners to snacks to drinks. It looks beautiful on my counter and actually gets used almost every day. Love it, love it.
Would Love to Have something new from HGTV………I watch you all every day & Night…Hubby allways helping me because I"am Disable Need things easy for me to open Jars can Baggie cans etc.
My favorite are my red silicone spatulas – I rarely use wooden spoons anymore.
I love the very simple, inexpensive purchase of ice cube trays for freezing individual portions, i.e. chicken and beef broth, pesto, juices, etc. So easy and ready for that last minute preparation. It is so handy and nutritious for working moms.
My Rachael Ray lazy spoon!! use them all the time. no dirty counter tops and I know where it is al the time!
I cannot live without my Deep Dish Baker… it is a pizza stone with sides.
I have thought long and hard about this… and I decided that my favorite kitchen gadget is a dual purpose (and I have 2 of them) jar opener and hot dish trivet. I have a terrible time opening jars because my hands aren't very strong, and these are amazing…. and they were very inexpensive!!! And I can use them at any time next to the oven to rest hot dishes on.
My EVOO cruet I purchased at a restaurant supply store for only a couple bucks! LOVE it!! Some day when I have time I may even hand paint a design on it…..
My new stainless steel oil sprayer. I have two, so I can use a different kind of oil in each one!
we got a beautiful handmade cutting board for our wedding from a gal who i worked with at the time…her husband made it, and even carved our names in caligraphy on the bottom! that thing will probably last forever and it just looks better with age!
The microwave
my favorite best looking kitchen gadget is tongs. I use them for everything, even some none cooking needs.
My black & Decker Convention Oven. It not only matches the decor in my kitchen, but it also cuts down on utlity cost by not having to turn on the oven for baking.
Love my teapot.
I love my Pampered Chef scraper and my Food Network dutch oven. They are awesome!
I collect Fiesta and my favorite kitchen "gadgets" would be my two Fiesta utensil crocks that sit on my countertop and hold my colorful silicone spatulas, whisks and other utensils. So handy and so colorful & cheerful!
I love my Cuisinart stainless steel waffle maker!!!!!
My garlic press
I love the cheese grater I take to the table to freshly grate
cheese for my guests. It's so functional and looks beautiful!
My kitchen aide mixer!!!
a potato peeler that I received as a gift. It’s the sharpest peeler and it has an extra big handle for an easier grip!!
My Mom's Hamilton Beach stand mixer (a wedding present in 1960) and yes, it still works!
I just love my red enamal dutch oven….I don't know what I did without it…I use it for everything…and I leave it out on top of the range…its soo pretty
OH yes please! I have old cookware from 30 years ago and never money to buy new.^_^
Grandma's old cheese shredder with interchangeable 'barrels' for grating, slicing, shredding. That and my potato masher.
My cobalt blue KitchenAid mixer. I use it all the time, have all the attachments and it is beautiful.
Believe it or not, my magic bullet. My oldest son was diagnosed with a neurological condition at a very young age and feeding has always been a challenge for him. The bullet allowed us to make him high calorie, high nutrition "smoothies" which we could use as a supplement to or in place of meals when he was having a bad day. It is small, so it is easy to store and dishwasher safe to a quick clean up!!! A true lifesaver
I think my pampered chef spatulas. They don't stain, melt and they can go into the dishwasher. I have had one spatula for about 15 years and it still looks like new. A close second would be the Rachel Ray slotted spatula that my kids gave me for Christmas this year.
My Briel espresso machine. It is beautiful.
My giant stock pot. When you see it on the stove and smell the spices in the air.. you know I'm making something special.
When my salad spinner entered my kitchen, my days were brighter
No more soggy salads or even planning ahead. Just minutes before dinner I could wash my greens, spin them, and we are good to
go. Other gadgets have joined the team but this would be the last one I could part with.
Beyond a doubt, it is my Kitchenaid Artisan stand mixer. I don't know how I ever lived without it!
That's tough – not sure if it's my Pampered Chef 5" Santoku forged knife (it's so sleek and cuts everything like butter), or my KitchenAid Mixer… it is going to look SO sharp in my new kitchen
I love my wooden spoons, they work for every thing to mix, stir, and serve.
I also love my paring knives I have different colored handles and they work great with preparing veggies.
I use my food chopper from pampered chef the most. I love it.
my Magic Bullet blender
My giant, bright yellow pepper grinder from Anthropologie. I scored in on sale a few years back for $12…bonus! Kitchen gadgets should always be bright colored, they make me happy just looking at them!
My favorite has to be my Pampered Chef chopper! Attractive and so versatile!!!
My classic white kitchen aid stand mixer.
Kitchenaid mixer. It makes the worst cook a great chef.
I love my Pampered Chef garlic press. Sorry Rachael. No chopping or smashing.
my favorite would have to be hands down…..my cast iron skillets we received as our weddin gift 25 yrs ago. can make cakes, biscuits, gravies, hamburgers, stews, EVERYTHING. even goes campin with us so i can make homefries for breakfast.
I couldn't cook without my chopping knife. Dinner would not be cooked in our house without it!
I couldn't cook without my chopping knife. Dinner or any meal would not be cooked without it!
my Pampered Chef food chopper
I would have to say my old-worn out cookie sheet that I use almost every day!
The bundt cake pan my mom gave me. It has to be 35 years old or more. It's old but beautiful at the same time and full of memories.
I like my orka glove for removing items from the oven. Not one burn since I purchased it-and I love the look of it! It is orange, and I can easily find it in my tiny crowded kitchen!!
I can't exactly say that my favorite kitchen gadget is good looking but it's certainly the handiest. It is a small, white GE handheld mixer that I bought for my mother as a birthday gift when I around 15 years old. I'm now 59 years old and it's the only mixer I've ever used. Only had to replace one of the blades once because I lost one in a move.
I Would have to say my cutco kitchen cutlery it cuts my food so good and saves me so much time and money!
