Can cookware and utensils serve as the center of style in your kitchen? Yes, with help from celebrity-chef Rachel Ray. Rachael’s line of cooking tools pulls double duty — as sanity-saving gadgets and as gorgeous pieces you’d won’t need to shove in the cabinet as soon as the doorbell rings. (We’re looking at you rusty, dented cookie sheet.)

We’ve partnered with the Food Network Store to bring Rachael’s super-smart (and super-stylish) kitchenware to Freebie Fridays. We’re giving away two of the most-wanted Rachael Ray products. First, there’s her Chocolate Casseroval (4.25 qt.), perfect for serving yummy goodness right out of the dish. (Breakfast casserole, tater tot casserole, chicken casserole, tuna casserole — well, maybe not tuna casserole.) It’s accompanied by one of Rachel’s Blue Stripe Moppine Oven Mitts, an uber-absorbent mitt/kitchen towel combo. Cool, yes? Answer this week’s question before 12/11c Monday, February 28, for a chance to win this stylish duo.
This week’s question: What’s the handiest, good-looking kitchen gadget you’ve ever owned?

Pampered Chef chopper – work made easy!
Cuisinart 12 cup prep plus food processor. I use it so often that I had to order an extra workbowl because one is always in the dishwasher from being recently used! Just made a rockin' batch of hummus in it today, right after I made a pesto to flavor an eye of round I made to slice up for sandwiches with my 2ND FAVORITE, my Cooks meat slicer.
my pink for breast cancer kitchen aid tools. I like helping to support a cause
Hands down, it's my buttercup yellow KitchenAid stand mixer!!!
My favorite / best looking gadget is my pastery cutter. I use it for so many mixing/cutting jobs, and it gets a lot of attention when I am cooking for friends – especially those who don't make and have no idea what it is. It's sleek, small, and multi-tasks! My kind of gadget!!
It has to be my Rival Crockpot! Sleek, white design, it has a most inviting style that just shouts "USE ME- I WILL MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A FANCY CHEF!" I use mine almost every day, and it still looks like new, and I have made THE MOST delicious meals for my family that would have been very complicated- my crockpot does the work for me! I cannot live without it!
My Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I do cake decorating as a hobby and don't know what I would do without my stand mixer.
I Love my Kitchen Aide Chrome Food Processor! I got it for my wedding and use it all the time! I own a daycare, so not only does it look fabulous on my white countertops, but it makes rockin awesome, fresh, organic baby food puree!!!! I also Love my new Racheal Ray Non Stick cooking set (pots and pans) That I got for Christmas this year! Orange is fun!!!
My KitchenAid Mixer
I love my coffee bean grinder.
My red, heavy duty jar opener; you have to have Superman strength to open most jars these days!
I love my Princess House wrought iron cookbook holder…both beautiful and functional!! <3
My kitchen Aid mixer-I love it!!!
Gotta be my Alasken Ule…(oolou) one of the handiest thing I have. it was a gift several years ago and I love it!
I love my slow cooker! I use it all of the time and supper is ready as soon as I get home with no fuss!
My le creuset pots =)
Absolute best gadget is microplane grater!
My Kitchen Aid Stand mixer.
I really have two favorite kitchen gadgets. The first one is the egg slicer. It is such a versatile item, it slices or cuts the egg in wedges. You can slice not only hard boiled eggs but mushrooms and strawberries. The second one is the pocket pie. It is a two sided gadge. One side is for cutting a solid piece of pie crust (already made) and the other side is a lattace for the top of the pie both of which are scalloped edges. Just a great idea if you don't want to make one large pie.
My garlic press/peeler that I can put the garlic in with the skin still on it!
My Kitchen Aid mixer and all of my Pampered Chef tools, especially the scalded, ice cream scoop and pizza cutter
I have a large and a small Pampered Chef Microwave pans that I absolutely LOVE!!! They have lids that you can drain the food through that are hooked onto the pans. They don't get too hot to touch, even with the foof being cooked inside them!!! I love them and don't want to be without them!!!
My all time favorite has to be my crock pot. I use it all the time and love it.
It's called a Vidalia Chop Wizard…a simple container that I can choose one of two sizes of inserts to easily dice vegetables like onions, potatoes, etc. I just slice and place them on top of the blade insert and close the lid. The diced veggie falls into the holding container which even measures up to a couple cups without having to use another measuring cup. So Simple and time saving!
My favorite thing is my knife block! It's the Kapoosh one and I just love it. My husband thought I was crazy when I put it at the top of my Christmas list. And I danced up and down when I opened it up.
I have a tiny kitchen, therefore any kitchen that doubles as some-what attractive decor is key for me! I have matching towel/potholder sets that match kitchen colors. Our Ginsu knife set is elegant enough that I dont have to hide it in the cupboard. And last but not least, my Pampered Chef rectangle stone is our dinner table "centerpeice" hold our salt and pepper grinders and napkin holder. Not exactly ideal, but will work for now
I would have to say my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I just love using it!!!!
I love my dish drying mat from bed bath and beyond. It is great for drying baby bottles-fine china and it’s memory foam and clean and simple. Best purchase to date
My pampered chef can opener I use it everyday and it hangs on my lasy susan, love it
Wish I could say "my Kitchen Aid Mixer.. in red" .. but I don't have one! I think maybe I like my OXO ice cream scoop best
My red KitchenAid mixer! Still love it most of all. Second is my teapot…love how cool it looks and brings me great comfort and warmth on these cold winter days!
My handiest and most beautiful kitchen gadget is mandoline. It is a bright and cheerful red color! I used to avoid recipes with lots of veggies and slicing. Not anymore!
I love my chopper, chop onions in a flash!
My wooden knife block-looks great and keeps those knives handy!
Love my Keurig. I also have this jar opener that's probably eighty years old. It still gets the job done.
parchment paper – awesome for everything and clean up is simple
Good loooking? You are making this tough. I'd have to go for a manual can opener I've recently found.
I have an old fashioned chopper that used to belong to my great aunt. It is really just a glorified jelly jar with a pump top that has 4 blades attached to its bottom. I put onions, tomatoes, celery, carrots or even chocolate inside the jar and push the pump down a few times and voile, the job is done with no mess and no tears in the case of onions. It's good looking in a nostalgic kind of way that makes me think of days gone by. Clear class with a wheat colored pump may not be as glitzy as stainless, but it's comforting! I have seen newer, sleeker versions advertised on infomercials late at night, but I'll stick with my glass, pump chopper till the day it's pump poops out or the glass jar cracks. So far, so good!
My Pampered Chef hand chopper is our most used and it's still beautiful. I will never live without one.
I love my pampered chef ice cream scoop. Even the most frozen ice cream scoops right out with no problems.
I have two: my Hamilton Beach programmable crock pot with temperature probe. It cooks everything well and doesn't overcook or burn. The other is my Bunn coffee maker. Full pot of coffee in three minutes. It keeps a reserve of hot water so when you pore in the new pot of cold water it doesn't have to heat it, it just pushes out the reserve for your new pot.
I don't have any good looking kitchen gadgets! They are all hidden in drawers and cabinets
But if I had a beautiful gadget like this, I'd display it proudly!
My favorite kitchen gadget is the knife block. Every knife is right at hand in a beautiful wooden block.
Of course, that would be my mixer!
My Kitchen King Pro – I use it all the time and I LOVE it! http://www.amazon.com/Kitchen-King-Complete-Prepa…
A big thick butcher block cutting board.
My handy dandy food processor….not only is it cute….its gets a lot of work….
I really love my Rachael Ray Moppine Oven Mitt. It hangs in my kitchen and gets used more than anything else.
I love my KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but 25 years ago I got a Sunbeam Oskar food processor, it is my can't live with out kitchen tool.
My most favorite gadget is the electric meat grinder. It can grind any kind of meat, fruits and vegetables. It's the best and most helpful tool in my kitchen.
