What room in a home do we spend the majority of our waking hours in? I think we can agree it’s the living room. And because it’s the first room you see when you enter my humble abode, I’ve spent the majority of my spare time decorating it, from the bookshelf display to the cat-friendly sage slipcover that hides hideous floral upholstery. (The sofa was free, thanks to Mom, so I can’t really complain.) But my living room still lacks that “wow” factor.

Me too! I think I'm leaning toward the stenciled walls myself. I have this one wall in my dining area that would look amazing with some stenciled action. All you need is a steady hand!

I WANT TO KNOW IF YOU CAN CUT DOWN A TWIN MATTERSS THAT IS 39X75 TO 25X60 TO MAKE A CUSHION FOR MY SOFA. iT IS A LAZY BOY AND WE HAVE PUT 3 SETS OF CUSHIONS ON IT IN THE LAST 5 YEARS. I CANNT AFFORD TO REPLACE THEM AGAIN AND I HAVE A BAD BACK AND MY HUSBAND JUST HAD SURGERY AND IS HAVING TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME SITTING ON THAT SOFA. PLEASE HELP ME ASAP. I THINK THAT i CAN MAKE THE COVER FOR THE SOFA IF I CAN JUST WORK THE CUSHION OUT.
