For years there has been rancor over a sports stadium being built at the intersection of three largely residential neighborhoods in Brooklyn, New York.
The Atlantic Yards project will be home to an NBA basketball arena as well as 16 residential and mixed-use buildings. It was just reported that one of largest of those may be a prefab high-rise apartment building. The discussion has now turned to whether a high rise tower should be made of prefabricated “blocks”. What do you think? Would you feel safe in this sort of building?
