ShareWhen I first came across this design, I was immediately intrigued by its crumbled appearance. The form is suggestive of wasted scraps, but I knew from its sleek high gloss finish that it had to have a meaningful use.
Any guesses for what this piece is used for? I’ll give you a hint as to scale: it definitely would not fit on your kitchen counter.

I think this is a modern conversation chair….where as one person can sit facing out and the other sits facing the opposite direction, yet the two sitters can converse.
