Keeping a healthy home has been on my mind as I move into a new house. Could we be allergic to something in the ducts? Will that cleaner be safe to use around our new kitten and puppy? How clean is the water or the pipes? I’ve got a filter for my faucet, so my home is covered, but what about when I’m on the go? That’s why I love the CamelBak Groove, a colorful and sleek water bottle with a built-in filter. So the water is cleaned as you sip. Compared to plastic bottles, it’s high on the reuse factor of the three R’s. And I love the color choices available for these BPA-free bottles. I have one in pink. My fiance has one in the more masculine black.

We’re giving away ten of these ingenious CamelBak bottles just in time for warm weather outdoor activities. For a chance to win, just leave us a comment before 12/11c Monday, April 18th.
This week’s question: When it comes to keeping a healthy home, what has been your biggest obstacle? Fighting off pet dander and dust? A mold infestation? Poisonous plants that keep coming back?

Can't wait to see if I win! What a treat!
All the pollen in the air, all over skin , everywhere is hard to get rid off. I am Asthmatic, have allergies to dust, dog dander, pollen. Even carpet. After going through a surgery for allergies. Still very sensitive to these. I use so many store bought bottles, when I am on the go because one from home always runs out. I also recycle. I I can make a really good use of this bottle. Promise
Trying to keep my home clean is never ending because of the dirt road we live on. It doesn't help that we have dark tables in the living room that show every speck of dust. Constantly dusting and mopping. UGH!!!
We live on a dirt road so dust is an every day problem. A very good vacuum is a must have!
I've had my one Camelbak for over 3 years since I'd started college. It's saved me plenty of money ever since; I've NEVER bought a bottle of water since I'd gotten my Camelbak. I love it to no end and am always recommending it to friends. Though I don't think I would want to replace it, I would definitely want to add more Camelbaks into my ownership. They're just so awesome! The water at certain fountains at school taste horrible, so it'd be nice to have a Camelbak that filters so that I wouldn't have to walk across campus for the "good stuff."
LOVE these water bottles!! <3 It would come in so handy at my workplace now that they charge for the water. Toughest place to keep clean in my house are the tile counter tops and back splash. The grit is so hard to get to at times. Thanks HGTV for this opportunity to win such a cool gift!!
Dust and Sand. Here in Florida our yards are full of sand and with 3 kids and a teen that plays on 3 soccer teams, the sand never ends. Hardwood floors mean dust mopping every day
, but worth it for our children. Thank so much
dirt and dust!
in the summer it seems like i always have dirt or dust everywhere!
Cat hair is my arch nemesis!
Ugh it seems like my house produces dust at an alarming rate! I am allergic so i am stuffed up 24/7!!! Thank goodness for swiffer dusters and a great vacuum!
I love the blue one….Think this is a neat product
Dog Hair
Everywhere!
Dog and cat hair everywhere, dust bunnies and mud that the dogs track in…it’s a nightmare. I keep trying to convince my husband that we need a Roomba vacuum and the Scooba mop-vac but he’s not biting…yet
Dusting and making sure we have nice healthy plants in the house to help with the air quality.
Biggest issue has been all the animal hair! Two dogs and a cat that sheds CONSTANTLY. On top of that, I hate dusting… And I have seasonal allergies.
Love my dog, hate his hair. Not only that we have an old home and I know there must be little allergy guys living in my duct work. Being retired its hard to find the extra money to have someone come and clean the ducts. We try but it's not good enough.
We have two Shetland Sheepdogs and two Siamese cats. I have what seems like living dust bunnies roaming around and all the time I find myself vacuuming the carpeting and sweeping the hardwood floors. Dust…the two dogs bring in more dust than you can ever imagine. We have leather sofa and chairs in the family room but made a huge mistake when I decided to get fabric sofa/love seat in the living room. LOL at least I picked a print that tends to hid the fur that is until you sit down with black on.
Pet hair and dust require constant cleaning in our household. We replaced the original A/C filter (blue mesh with large gaps) in our home with newer pleated paper filters and they have helped. We just have to keep after our pets and vacuum frequently.
I've been searching for some new water bottles for my 4 sons for baseball and lacrosse seasons. Every year I buy each of them one but end up tossing them by mid-season cause they get so gross from our hard water. This would be the perfect solution! No more mid-season throw aways- now just need to find 4 different colors! (Two kids with the same color?? Unthinkable!!!:D
*What's been my biggest obstacle for a healthy, clean home?? The answer is very simple…4 extremely active, love to play in the mud, dirt, sand and anything else disgusting, boys and 2 200lb. St. Bernards who follow the boys everywhere! :'(
I am so ready to clean out my house and have a fresh start for spring. Tired of my depressed dull home. Ready to refresh and revive. Keeping the house clean is a tough job with a dog that is mostly an outdoor dog. Big Dog with lots of hair. But we love him! Love the CamelBak Grove. Pick Me, please.
Keeping up with the dust from the 2 cats and dog, 3 kids, and husband is a must. With summer coming just getting the windows open and letting the fresh air in will be great. Love the bottle, never fails when I get a new one, I seem to lose it to one of the kids!!
Love this giveaway!!! I would definitely have to say that I am unable to keep the dust and dirt out!
keeping myself sober and smokefree is the healthiest thing i have chosen to do for my family:)
Dog hair and POLLEN!!!
Pet hair and dander by far! We have two dogs and two cats so it's a never ending job!
The dander and hair, I'm using doggie coat wipes after her romp thur the field. They work!
Dust is my biggest concern. I have a sand dune behind my house and every time the wind blows, my house readily accepts the dust.
This is a beautiful home and I am always entering trying to win. I hope this is my year it would be a blessing to me and my children to be able to own a home and have a fresh start in life together! Good everyone
My biggest obstacle is pet hair and dander. I have to clean my hardwood floors daily since my husband and I both have major sinus issues.
Our biggest healh issue in our home is the pet hair, and dust. We just renovated our home by pulling up the entire house of carpet and exposing the original hardwood floors that have been hidden for over 30 years. We've owned this home for 33 years, and to finally get ahold on the pollens & dust hidden in our carpet is awesome to say the least. My husband's allergies finally are showing some improvement. I do have to vacume the floors more often due to the pet hair and dust, but at least I see it more now and have become more aware of the health issues. Now if we could just get the pet hair to stop shedding. Whew!!!! My husband drinks a ton of water thru a similar bottle, so to have him one that filters the water even more than our filtered faucet water, would make me feel good.
