Our very own Kelley Walters was just telling me yesterday about her adventures in beginner beekeeping. I was determined to find a “beautiful” beehive to share with you all.

Apparently, when you’ve got a good design, you don’t mess with it. Beehives won’t be changing any time soon. In the research, though, I found a trove of great bee-inspired designs. This gorgeous bedding with screen-printed bees was among the best. And after watching this beekeeping video, I think the sheets are more my speed.

I've been seriously considering keeping bees myself! When checking out hives, I did find this unique option called the Omlet Beehaus:

They are pretty expensive and I don't know if they are any better. The inside is still basically the same, but the exterior has been modernized and they come in a range of fun colors. If Kelley decides to get one, let me know what she thinks!
Ahhh…by the same designers of the Eglu! Gives me coop envy.
Speaking of coop envy, here's the one I've been coveting:

Chickens inside of an egg-shaped coop — there's a certain symmetry about that!
I am 100% agree with your statement about it.
