Over the course of three weeks, artisans in Brooklyn, NY hand turn salvaged wood and transform it into bowls and serving sets like these. The rich wood bowls are made by Loomstate — which is celebrating Sustainability Month right now.

While not cheap, each bowl is completely unique and supports handmade arts. Loomstate is also donating $10 from each purchase to Food Bank For NYC. And just think how delectable fresh greens would look nestling in a bowl like this.

These certainly look as though they could easily become a sculpture to put on display. The quality is A+!
I have a big salad bowl and I just love it, very easy to take care of it looks great on the table when full of green salad or even with fruit salad.
