It’s week three of our fabulous month of outdoor decor giveaways from Frontgate. This week it’s all about keeping your outdoor space looking stylishly neat and trim. We’ve got this gorgeous copper hose pot — perfect for tucking away that gangly gardening essential when guests come by for a mid-summer soiree. I love the rustic elegance of the pot’s patina. I can totally picture it at a vineyard in Napa Valley nestled beside a showy bougainvillea dripping with blooms.

Just leave us a comment before 12/11c Monday, May 23 for your chance at this useful — and gorgeous — piece of garden art.
This week’s question: When guests make an unexpected visit, what outdoor unsightliness do you find yourself rapidly cleaning or scurrying to tuck away from view? (A collection of newspapers that haven’t made it inside or recycling that hasn’t made it to the street? Repositioning a welcome mat that the cat has dragged across the front porch?)
You can create the perfect spot for outdoor entertaining this summer with HGTV.com’s outdoor spaces design guide.

I love this….I think it would be an absolutely great piece for the youth house at church. Its Just totally awesome.
I have several copper pots in my landscaping plan and this would be the perfect addition. My husband complains I always have hoses out. This might cure me of that.
Beautiful, just what i need to store my garden hose. Currently it is just curled up by the facuet.
I think I want it somewhere IN my house
This time of year is the dead plantings from last year. The garden hose of course is always in the way. Or mayby what my husband has set on the front poarch unloading his vehicle after a long day, of course meaning to put away but doesn't quite get off the front porch. Other than that the front is tidy and neat. The copper hose pot would be a great addition and keep my garden hose from being strung out!
Thankfully our outdoor areas are usually pretty clean so we'll just give the front porch and deck a quick sweep. This hose pot is gorgeous! The patina is a perfect match for our rain chain and believe me, it will come in handy to store our hose. As others have said…Pick me! Pretty please pick me!! lol
Lots of birds around my porch, so I'm always making sure their"donations" are cleaned up and the porch looks spotless.
I try to hide my ugly picnic table. As soon as I possible can I throw a table cloth on it!
Can't wait to be surprised by this great gift! My husband leaves the hose all over the yard! Maybe with this, he'll actually roll it up…
Straighten the pile of shoes at the backdoor! I love that hose pot!
Even though I love my pretty blue hose, it's certainly not decorative, and would look much nicer in the copper hose pot. It would really add to the "enchanted fairy garden" look I'm going for.
In our front yard the hose is just thrown on the side of the house. We have a problem with spiders and weeds that are never ending. We just need some good weather on a weekend so we can tackle the problem. I read recently that the front porch should be an extension of your home. Ours really needs help.
I scurry to pick up toys, both inside and outside. Things that the puppies have drug across the property. Sweep, mop and then straightnen up the kid's rooms. Make sure that the bathroom is in proper order. Tidy up the carport. I've given up on my water hose looking straight, I use three different hoses for my plants and tropicals! I would love to have the copper container to help give a more polished look and not a sloppy tangled mess of a hose!!
I find myself sweeping the porch off, wiping away the cobwebs that accumulate around the outdoor lights …so many spiders!!! Our dog loves her toys, but hasn't learned to put them away, so I have to gather up her toys too!
Before the guests arrive I always have to find a spot for my gardening tools, gloves, and dirtly shoes. I tend to leave them by the door when I finish working outside. Of course the hose is also unsightly and needs a nice home.
Tuck It Away! Throw stuff in the garage – no one goes in there! and a quick sweep will have everything looking amazing
Clean up the pile of Moose droppings by the front door and then hose it down before I put the hose away!
To tell the truth — dog poop! I clean it up every day, but if guests are unexpected, it means I might have to run out and get the Pooper Scooper before they see anything!
The big problem around here is everyone sharing the same interest in the front yard and porch area looking nice and tidy. I work a lot..lol, and It's just dissapointing to come home and see the hose stretched through the flower bed and laying in the yard still on. I usually just laugh it off and start to clean it back up. Maybe if they had something to put the hose in they wouldn't ruin all my hard work.
I always scramble to get the hose back up on its wall rack. Its so hot in Georgia, that plants need water almost every day-so the hose gets left lying across the patio or deck. This pot is beautiful-and matches the copper flashing on our doorways and chimney!
I usually sweep off the patio and make sure the seating area is perfect!
Much more attractive than the "nest" of hose sitting under my spigot!
I always end up grabbing up garden tools. I'm not very good about putting them away so there's always a stray pair of gloves or a trowel tossed on the stoop. Not only unsightly but a hazard! Yikes!
OH I love and need that !! We are in the process of finishing the front yard so it is a work in progress, a must is to keep the porch "decorated" with plants and flowers.. maybe they wont see the mess out front
I usually need to clean all of the pollen and leaves off of the patio table. We have lots of trees, and the glass surface seems to be a magnet for grime. I LOVE this copper hose pot, it matches my copper onion lanterns so perfectly.
It is so lovely a pot. It would set of my yard like no other.
I love the hose pot! When company's coming, I just try to roll our hose up neatly and out of the way, so no one will trip over it!
That copper is beautiful, right now our hose is hanging on the deck. But it is always in a tangle, and tough to lug around to get to the flowers to water them. The pot would be an awesome way for me to get the hose closer to the flowers, and be stylish also! xD
The water hose, front and back yard, always seem to the be the things I'm rapidly rolling up in order to tidy the exterior before guests arrive. That and cleaning the front and back door glass.
My hose always seems to be out to water all my flowers. This would be so awesome to have and would match my antique decor.
I always like to have a pot of colorful flowers on my front porch when guests arrive. My hose is in the dirt right by the front walkway so i scoot that out of the way…and make sure I have a wreath hanging on the front door to welcome guests as well.
I really like the color of this and would LOVE to not be tripping on the hose all the time!
I hide all the junk that collects on my kitchen bar.
Doggy duty is important if the guests include kids, I want them to be able to go out and enjoy the tire swing. Also sweep the patio so the adults can sit out and enjoy the Spring weather.
I agree with one of the early comments. The hose is always laying around. It is not good for the grass and I have seen the cute containers at other department store but this Frontgate one is very attractive with the aged patina. This would find would definitely be a asset to the side of my front yard. Frontgate quality is second to none. I love the elegant approach to their design for outdoor living. Keep your designers and buyers busy please.
The kids toys! The outside gets as bad as the inside.
I love this copper hose pot! What a elegant way to store a hose! It would look fabulous in my yard! Hint hint
What a beautiful pot! As for the question, I scurry to hide the outdoor baby toys!
Would love this pot!! Here's to hoping I win it!!
Hose reel is broken and unusable. this would be the perfect fix and would go so well with the fence post caps. would love to have it….. need to have it…….
For me generally it's getting rid of flowers I've deadheaded and tossed into the yard for future clean up and, oddly enough – the darned garden hose!
That would definitely be the garden hose sprawled out on the front lawn so that my husband can take care of his tomato and pepper plants!!!! Love love love this Copper Pot and sooooo want to win!!!!
Forget the hose, this pot would go indoors! I feed neighborhood cats so I'm always sweeping up cat food! ;o)
I make sure the front walkway and porch area are presentable…you never get a second chance to make a first impression!
Usally just a little sweeping!
I would love this!
This hose pot would be perfect nestled in the Peonies in the south side of my house! It would keep the hose out of the way of the mower and make a beautiful place amazing. Thanks Frontgate. You have the best merchandise.
Sweeping away leaves or anything else, cobwebs, that just seem to appear from nowhere!
My husband and I tag team and give the lawn a good wetting so it looks very green. He takes out the blower and blows all the leaves away from the walk areas. If we have time we will wet down the house and try to get all the pollen down. We have many family members with allergies and the last thing I want is for them to have a horrible experience while visiting. We make sure the grill is clean. I guess we get a bit involved but we love hanging out and making the experience a good one for everyone.
My kids muddy shoes that are outside right by the front door.
