Have you ever wished that HGTV would show up on your doorstep to give your home a makeover? Who hasn’t, right? We here at Design Happens are happy to say — that opportunity is knocking! Our new show HGTV’d was created to give you the opportunity to upload photos and videos of your space for a chance at a dream makeover from your favorite HGTV stars. The show premieres June 6th, but while you wait for the HGTV’d truck to roll down your street, we’re going to hook you up with a bedroom decked out in all things HGTV.

Design Happens is proud to present the new HGTV HOME bedding line. We’re giving away three complete bedroom sets for an HGTV-approved bedroom mini-makeover. Each winner will get to pick any size bedding from the cool, blue Lucas set or the warm Lagare set. Each set includes a comforter, bed skirt, two shams, two decorative pillows, two window panels and one window valance.
For a chance to win, leave us a comment before 9am/8c Friday, May 27, telling us the next product HGTV HOME should come out with. HGTV furniture? HGTV art work? HGTV bathroom towel sets? What about life-size Jamie Durie cutouts?
Don’t forget to check out the premiere of HGTV’d Monday, June 6, 9pm/8c.

I agree with Deneen. I think they should come out with Art Work from the designers, especially David Bromstad!!!!! (Maybe replicas of the ones that were featured on Color Splash. I would definitely pick up a few!)
I'd like to see 'Kits" come out giving the viewers a chance to have some of the accessories we see the designers make out of simple things and sometimes out of nothing!! I'd also be interested in a headboard kit. It would have everything needed except the wood or framing. It would have batting, fabric, buttons, trim and maybe nailheads or metal accents and complete instructions and measurements for each size. Keep up the great work!!
Pictures for any room in the house would be awesome! How about HGTV and Beyond (smiles)!!!
I think "do it yourself" kits. HGTV always has the greatest inexpensive ideas for projects…….why not have kits for all the various home improvement tasks? A lot of people can be lazy and not want to maybe go to multiple stores to get all the items they need to do something……so why not have it all in one box? Would be fun and make it easier on people.
DO YOU ALL KNOW WHAT I THINK THAT I HAVEN'T SEEN DONE YET ?? WOULDN'T IT BE QUITE FUN IF THE TALENTED DESIGNER'S WERE TO DESIGN THEIR OWN PATTERNS ON THE ACTUAL TEXTILE MATERIALS USED IN CURTAINS, FURNITURE, ETC.
I FOR ONE WOULD JUST LOVE THAT !!
THEN SECONDLY, I DEFIENTLY AGREE WITH THE VERY FIRST POST……THE ARTWORK DONE BY THE MORE GIFTED DESIGNERS…….IN WALL DECOR OR FURNITURE DESIGN.
IDEA IS TO HAVE SOMETHING SPECIAL BY DESIGN…….DONE WITH UNIQUE CUSTOMIZED IDEAS.
Bathroom sets are ok, but I would much rather see something for the dining room…. placemats and napkins and the like…
Do-it-yourself assessory kits
I think they should have really cool lighting pieces or furniture.
I agree with everyone on lighting. It's something that can easily be changed, yet provides a drastic improvement when doing makeovers. HGTV lights please.
Love Love love bedroom design!!! Would love to see bathroom towels, hand towels & wash clothes to match.
Hi, I would love to see a product line of furniture and accessories that are innovative and beautiful (not hospital like) for people with disabilities. Such talented designers i am sure can come up with style conscious solutions that make home environments beautiful and not clinical….
How about an affordable line of storage and work station solutions for all of us hobbyist out there. Especially those of us with small spaces.
I would love to see HGTV artwork – nothing would make me happier than to have a David piece hanging on my wall!!!!
I would love the blue bedroom set. I am also looking for deck furniture
Love to see jumbo bath towels -high quality and affordable, or maybe soft and "green", made of bamboo??- designed by Candace. And hey, David! You could offer reproductions of some of your fabulous artwork. It would be so popular!
Bathroom sets will be great!!!!
artwork would be absolutely fantastic!!
I would like to see an entire line of items designed to work together — paint, curtains, lighting, other accents. They could all be coded so you would know that certain paint works well with certain certains or lighting. It could help people "HGTV" their own home!
It would be great to have coordinating bedroom/master bathroom accessories from HGTV. I also love the idea of the artwork, sculptures, etc. for wall decorating that each individual designer is so great at creating!
So many times apartments are really hard to decorate, because there are rules controlling what can be done to the walls, or any space that is dark( not alot of windows) , or hiding pet kennels, etc., etc.. Get the idea? I need some ideas. I have good furniture to work with, just need help.
Love to see more home decor of all types…
:*
the bedding pictured here is ugly!
What about a line of home accessorie? !!
room mini-make-over kits. Example – a liviing room kit could include art, slip covers, etc. A kitchen kit could include backspash, countertop materials. something creative that a diy'er could handle
Wall Decor or Pendant Lamps
I would love to see a complete line products for the bathroom. Luxurious towels that have unique, colorful patterns and bath accessories including rugs, shower curtains, towel racks, waste baskets, toothbrush holders and soup dispensers that compliment the design. Lighting options would be great too! The bathroom is often a neglected room when it comes to design. More time is spent in the family room and kitchen and the bathroom in forgotten. At least it is that way in our home.
HGTV home store equipt with everything you need to redesign including furniture, artwork pieces from your designers, fabric with how to class on DIY projects like reupholstering, have designers for hire or consultations, gardening & landscaping contractors and so on. That'll be the next best thing to Lowes and Home Depot-maybe even greater.
tell me how to enter for a free makeover
I think that HGTV should come out with "design kits" by your favorite HGTV designer for the kitchen, bath, family room, etc. Choose your celebrity designer, color palet and design style and order the kit from HGTV! Sort of like buying architectural plans from an architectural firm. Just a thought…………..
I LOVE how these shows create so many unique pieces of furniture- but afterwards I have no idea how they pulled it off for such a great price. I would love to see the do it yourself kits!!!
I was always intrigued with the shows that had episodes on wood like floors, especially those that are ceramic tiles. Durable and economical. I had difficulty finding them in South Texas. I would love to see a beautiful designed wood like product that is ceramic or porcelain with HGTV logo, that can be found easily in local do it yourself stores. Now theres an idea.
I think furniture would be awesome, i'm always watching hgtv show wonder where did they get the furniture from.
Easy shelving would be great. I want the look of a custom built in for the living room but not the cost of custom built ins. The units should be stackable and interchangable with drawers and doors where you want them and trimmed with your choice of crown. And having a contest to win a date with Jamie Durie. Lol! For charity of course.
HGTV furniture would be a great line to start!!
Soooooooomany good ideas. It seems that chic finishing touches on a room are the hardest to come up with. Items like window coverings in classic as well as trendy styles and colors; or lamp shades; or that perfect picture or decorating item that pulls it all together. HOWEVER, if several of these items were sold as a set so they are guaranteed to coordinate with each other, decorating would be so much easier.
HGTV lighting and art would be awesome! A bunch of accessories that all match, to bring a room together. And the life size Jamie Durie cut-outs is not a bad idea at all. I would put that man on my wall any day…..
HGTV lighting along with artwork would be good, but in a green way to make the home more efficient and pretty
I would really like to see a HGTV furniture line.
I Say light fixtures!!wall art would be great too, everyone has the same metal thingys these days, it's so overdone!!
I think HGTV should come out with a do it yourself kit for painters or other home improvement projects. For example, the painters kit It should include instructions, rollers, brushes, paint, etc..
Happy Friday!
I would love to see cool window coverings, especially dome decorative window shades that ate affordable enough you could change with the season. And if they were made on solar heat reflective material like solar screens that would be huge!!! I get tired of traditional curtains! Hard to keep dust free!
There would be no limit on who could use them!
Even businesses!!!
Pick me!!!
