While they totally look like “high-class peeps” as Matthew said, you wouldn’t want to eat these guys. Megan, closely followed by Amy PureHome, was spot on with “hooks for hanging garments or hats on.” Handmade “birds on a wire” themed decor is huge on Etsy and at indie-craft fairs, but this modern, minimalist Bird on a Wire Coat Rack from Huset is one of my favorites. (They would look perfect in my yellow-themed apartment…wink, wink…friends and family).Bird On A Wire Coat RackIf your home does not have a coat closet, what have you found to be the most stylish and sturdy way to store jackets, purses, keys and such out in the open?     What's the origin of Bird on a Wire? Is it the Johnny Cash country song? I have a necklace I bought at the winter Indie Craft Fair in Atlanta that's slices of film arranged to be birds on a wire. While I love these yellow little fellows, I would need a modern house to use them. Someday, if I have a ranch…

      It was actually originally a Leonard Cohen song recorded in 1968, but the song is more recognizable from Johnny Cash. : ) Oh I can't wait for my first visit to the Indie Craft Fair in Atlanta! That sounds amazing!
