What’s your color personality? I found out mine by taking the Color Personality Quiz at HGTV.com (the link to the quiz is on the top right of the Find Your Color page). I was totally surprised by how I scored. You must take it, and let me know your results. Who knows — we might be color buddies! Before taking the quiz, I was sure that my effervescent and sarcastic personality would elicit a dramatic or vibrant color palette…
My bubbly side :: My serene side
…but instead, I got: You are natural and serene. (Wait, what?!) Reading on it said: You are drawn to colors derived directly from nature. You appreciate the beauty of the natural world and the peace it provides. Your ideal color palette consists of green, blue and brown. Wow … that’s totally true. I do appreciate nature; I love going hiking in the mountains. Then, I talked about the quiz with my colleagues here at HGTV, they were all saying I have a calm and nurturing personality and reminded me I wear outfits with subtle colors just as often as loud, hot hues. (But can I confess? I really wanted to be a red. Or purple.)

Kayla, I got "Natural and Serene" too. I was pretty confident that would be my result though. Blue, green and brown are my interior color palette of choice!
My color personality was "Warm and Vibrant" — since I decorate with a lot of red and orange, I guess this makes sense!
That was mine, too!
Just for fun I took the quiz again and chose everything that was my least favorite. I ended up with a "Passionate and Regal" color personality. Now I know what colors to avoid — purple, black, and metallics, which is pretty much right on the money!

I got classic and sophisticated! My palette consists of "all shades of neutrals, from white to gray to taupe to many hues in between." Interesting because I've been thinking of painting some accent walls with bright pops of color – we'll see…..

I got Warm and Vibrant which I agree expresses my personality, but I don't know if it really matches how my house is set up. Maybe it's time I start to do some redecorating! I also took a quiz that specifically helps you decide what kind of materials and hues will help for interior design. I ended up with leather, stone, and wood and matching color swathes to help me start the process. So between that quiz and this one I should have a good start!
