I’m so excited for this week’s Freebie Friday because I’m absolutely obsessed with designer Thomas Paul’s self-titled line of home accessories, which includes pillows, rugs, shower curtains, pendant lamps, linens and more. His work is unexpected yet timeless. And every time he comes out with something new, it’s automatically added to my wish list. After several excited, school-girl-esque emails from yours truly, Thomas, himself, decided to give a Design Happens fan two of his fantastic hand-screened printed linen pillows. They are super-luxurious, filled with down and the perfect solution for that much-needed color pop your living room may be needing. Plus, they’d be right at home in an uber-contemporary loft or traditionally styled cottage. So versatile!

I really enjoy the designs of Sarah Richardson and Martyn Lawrence Bullard. They are both so incredibly talented, creative, and funny. David Bromstad is also one of my favorite designers. You can always count of David to dream up something truly creative and timeless.

Candace Olsen is my fave HGTV show, I love everything she touches. So I’d have to say her designs are my fave and inspiration. Currently redecorating our house (on a budget) so the pillows would be very welcome

After watching “Sarah’s House” on HGTV I am suddenly uber aware of fabrics both great and god-awful. Love her style and loooooove watching her transform an entire house. I daydream about her doing my own tired house…

Seriously, I’ve been thinking about this lately… As a Licensed Real Estate Broker, I see lots of homes and decorating styles and I tend to like just about everything. The point being… I enjoy all decorators works even the novices.
For the record, David Bromstad is adorable and fun to watch.
“Sarah’s House” is my favorite show on HGTV. Love the resources she provides, along with the design inspiration.

I have to add my vote for Candice Olson. She has been my favorite interior designer since the first time I saw her on TV many years ago. I love her drawings…I swear she must do them after the rooms are complete! And as someone else mentioned, I would love her to do a design of my living room. Regarding these pillows I like the art work on them, but when I read “down filled”, OMG I want them!!!!!!

One of the best handmade items I’ve ever purchased was a black cast iron that I use as book end on my shelf
I really enjoyed looking at the designs put together by the production designer Ruth Ammon from HEROES. She’s moved on now that the show is done but I always loved her choices from wall paper to light fixtures.
