I’m so excited for this week’s Freebie Friday because I’m absolutely obsessed with designer Thomas Paul’s self-titled line of home accessories, which includes pillows, rugs, shower curtains, pendant lamps, linens and more. His work is unexpected yet timeless. And every time he comes out with something new, it’s automatically added to my wish list. After several excited, school-girl-esque emails from yours truly, Thomas, himself, decided to give a Design Happens fan two of his fantastic hand-screened printed linen pillows. They are super-luxurious, filled with down and the perfect solution for that much-needed color pop your living room may be needing. Plus, they’d be right at home in an uber-contemporary loft or traditionally styled cottage. So versatile!

Great looking pillows very nice
I love the designer creations of Salvador Dali, especially the furniture collaborations he completed with Jean Michel Frank. Very innovative work for their time!
My favorite designer is a team that includes my mom, Judy and my sister, Tami. Together, we are great at redesigning using what we already have and purchasing low cost items to paint or recover. We get great rooms and have terrific “girl time”!
I absolutely adore Genevieve Gorder, from Dear Genevieve. I not only love her decorating style, I think she is a beautiful person..!
I do love David Bromstad’s designs! He uses lots of color in unique ways, and I am a huge fan of color! Plus, I love that he creates an art piece for each room.
Candice Olson – hands down. I absolutely love her flexible taste and contagious positivity!!

Well THIS is spoooky. I just got the Thomas Paul Nantucket napkins to use when i sit outside on blustery days drinking tea…ok, scotch, from my American Clipper cups. His aesthetic is so crisp, with proportion, balance, and rhythm all working together in his designs making utilitarian linens just a joy to use in my kitchen. I’m a stamp collector and his work just makes me so happy!
Jonathan Adler, especially for accent pieces. I love how he uses color and patterns in such a fun way!

My favorite is David Bromstad. His creativity knows no limits. His sense of style and his relationship with color makes everything he does a work of art in and of itself.

I may never actually get to see any of his offerings in person as he is in South Africa, but his “Room Recipes” are a total delight and quite inspirational. Maybe he will open a store in the US some day.

I am absolutely gaga over Sarah Richardson and Tommy Smythe!! I love Sarah’s beautiful but sensible design solutions. I’m an interior design student and I’m obsessed with her and I’ve learned so many tricks to help with my own designs — balancing aesthetics and function.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Candice Olson. She is so amazingly talented and love all the ideas that she comes up with. When we move into our home I’m hoping we can find a designer as remarkable as she is.
Hands down, my favorite textiles designer is Alexander Girard, who designed many mid-century fabrics and patterns we still see today. His whimsical, colorful, and daring designs inspire me.

I love the colors in these pillows. I have 2 design crushes David Bromstad and John Gidding. I love the way David uses color and I love John’s makeovers on CATB especially since he is now in the SF Bay Area.
LOVE the pillows! I definitely have a design crush on David Bromstad… I love using color, but have a hard time pulling it all together sometimes and he totally inspires me! Then mix that with the budget friendly ideas from blogs like YHL.
