Admit it, you probably cried when you watched Marley & Me. But if you also cried at the sight of the beautiful stone house, you might be in luck.
The historic – and now famous – home was built in the 1830s out of native stone and is set on 16 acres of land in Chester County, Pennsylvania. But best of all, it could all be yours for $1.25 million. Yes, the house that Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson moved their film family to from Florida is for sale. The house and land (which includes a barn as well), is so picturesque and characteristic of the area that it made a natural movie house – furniture and art included. I especially love what looks to be the addition on right side of the home, full of windows and a warm glow.
What a beautiful house! Since the 2012 HGTV Dream Home in Utah "will be constructed to mimic the look of an old, original farmhouse that has been expanded out over the years", this home gives a hint as to what that might look like. I have to say I still have not seen "Marley & Me" — I have this thing about watching animals expire in movies. Hey, what do you expect from someone who shed tears the first time she saw the ending of the original "King Kong" movie?
CplusE – I still haven't watched "Marley and Me" either. (I can never fully prepare myself for the anticipated crying.) But this house is GORGEOUS! I love every bit of it!

Isn't this home and grounds gorgeous?! Totally love the whole package! And wouldn't that red barn make a great art studio and workshop space for my Red Barn Art?! Are there photos of the barn interior? Lovely, just lovely!
Thanks for the great comments on the house. Bought it last year and have been doing further renovations to the interior — added a formal laundry room and are finishing the conversion of the 3rd floor to a master bedroom.
