Bold color is back in a big way. We dubbed lime July’s color of the month, and we’ve seen an influx of brightly colored furniture and paint palettes saturating the market. One of our favorite finds this season is Dovecote Decor’s spunky Wangright Lacquer Cocktail Tables. These little gems are perfect side tables or look ultra-chic grouped together to form a coffee table. And while they are the essence of uptown style, a chance flea market find inspired the designer behind them.

We want one Design Happens reader to take home a cocktail table in their choice of color (blue, yellow, orange, white or LIME!). To enter for a chance to win, just leave us a comment in the field below before 12/11c Monday, July 18.
This week’s question: Are you into repurposing flea market, yard sale and thrifting finds? Or are you all about the instant satisfaction of store bought beauties?

i am a color fanatic and i love to repurpose things! it's green living at its best! i would love to make this our newest addition
I truly believe I am a repurpose queen. I love a vision and love the challenge of making that vision come to life. HGTV has proven to be the absolute best resource for new and wonderful ideas!! Thank you!!!
I enjoy finding furniture and refinishing it because a/ it is affordable, and b/ it makes me feel like a designer
I would love to own one of those bright, colorful cocktail tables! Most of my furniture is repurposed. I love the thrill of searching garage sales and flea markets, looking for something to spark my creative mood.
So into refinishing! It is so fun to find something and get a picture in your mind how it could look better with some personal touches! Love these tables!
My husband and I love to go to yard sales, flea markets and thrift stores and find the next "treasure" for our house. Repurposing items is a lot of fun and it warms my heart to give new life to an item that otherwise might be thrown out! This table looks amazing and I know I can find a place for it!
I just repurposed for the first time last month! I had a solid wood desk that was pretty outdated that was handed down to me from my parents. It was so much more fun that I had thought it would be– and it looks spectacular! Now I look around me and try to figure out what else I can transform!
I am too obsessed over hgtv. The blue or lime table would. be SO gorgeous in my apt! I personally like doing both, shopping for old and new. Its always fun to find something vintage and make it my own
That little blue cocktail table is too cute! I want to put it next to my garden tub to hold bath accessories!
Who wants to be ordinary when they can be original?Love re-purposing!
we have done the re-purpose or as I like to call it recycling of furniture pieces. We find it rewarding to create a one of a kind piece that fulfills a purpose in our home. Presently my Son is creating a dining room table from barn board. I'm over the moon with excitement as we are moving and it will be the perfect addition to our new home. We are planing leather chairs with the barn board table, I think they will compliment each other!!!!!!!!
I would love any of these!
Ooh! How sweet. I love recycling and repurposing! It so much fun to create something more than what it was before! I would do the LIME (please)! I love Green in every shade. It is like bringing the outdoors in!
I am of the eclectic decor, so I also go for both the flea market or store. If it makes me feel good inside it's mine. Love color also, so the orange table would look good for me. Kathy
I would love to get into repurposing, but we never have flea markets in the city. Bummers. But I try to use the old things around the house for new ideas or I just repaint them for a new, fresh look!!!
I am definitely a reporpuser. Love to find something old and beautiful and make it my own.
I love estate sales! I get old furniture and refurbish it with fabric, paint and designs. Some I keep and some I give away or sell. I like to find the old wrought iron stuff and the wicker also and spruce them up. So much fun, everyone says "Is that the same table you got at the sale?"
My style is southwestern, so I always try to think of a flea market/yard sale find and try to adapt it to what will fit in my home. I LOVE bright, happy colors!!
I tend to repurpose a lot of things I find. Some things I'll also build myself.
I love all of the above! I used to live in California near the Rose Bowl Swapmeet, It was my "Me time". I love the idea of finding a piece of furniture or a yard sale find, that has a history. But I am also one that likes that off the wall shop or resale store. I could spend an hour or two in a good one. I would take any one of the colors and make it work in my home!
I love the idea of repurposing and/or refinishing finds; however, I tend to mess up even basic painting and my lack of artistic skill/steady hands doesn't bode well for anything I would try to make over.
Honestly, I'm a fan of both. If I find something that has a lot of potential, I'll repurpose it, but I also often find things at the store that I truly love. Even better, sometimes I'll find something on clearance because it was broken in some fashion and a couple of changes later, it's even better than original (in my opinion)!
By the way, these tables are something that I truly love.
I love the tables! I love HGTV!
This is just what I have been looking for! How neat. Love all the colors, too.
I love the satisfaction of enjoying objects I've "made my own", even if it's just with a new coat of paint. These tables are beauties and inspire me to look for a new "find" to repurpose!
I love repurposing flea market finds!!!
love this table–and all the great colors!
Super cute! Great piece of inspiration, there are so many possibilities as to how you can incorporate this into a room.
fabulous tables! Would love to have one to call my own. and yes, I am absolutely into repurposing and thrift store buying. Have some excellent stores in my area.
I'm a big fan of HGTV and a weekly visitor to the local Benefit shops – love to look at all things old which usually have more personality than all things new.
I love finding old pieces of furniture even light fixtures and using them. I am an eclectic kind of person, the chandelier hanging in my dining room was found hanging on a engine hoist at a garage sale.. I am also a nut for color.
Both! If I find something that's already "it" that's great…but I love thinking outside of the box and combining different looks too.
Would these tables be suitable for outdoor use in the summer? I sometimes find nice things at flea markets, but enjoy new things, too!
I don't have much time to go searching for "new" pieces, so I like taking furniture I already have and making it look new and different.
I'd love to win one of the tables. They are very cute and would be perfect in my house.
I love the idea of repurposing but I rarely have time to work on a big project. So I stick to using my own artwork/photography and mostly store bought decor.
I love this table!. I can think of many different functions for around the house!.. In the study, in the kids' area– in the kitchen— anywhere!
I love repurposing! My kids and their friends know what an HGTV addict I am. They're all college students with new apartments. I love it when I get called… "Ms. Chris, I just bought…… Will you help me fix it up?" Today we got a headboard, and a bookcase at a yard sale, and found an awesome Vintage Crystal Chandelier on Craig's List. Can't wait to get to work on all of them!
I'd love to re-purpose, but I have no sense of envisioning. Store bought workes better for me – even if its a thrift store, as long as it looks nice.
I love the blue and green ones!!! so cute..
I am totally a yard sale/flea market kind of girl. You can find cool, original pieces and make them into what you are looking for! This small table would look great with great summer yard sale finds!!!!
I like to buy new. When you have a small space every piece counts and pops of color are sooo important!
I would love to refinish flea market finds but it's just not very easy with 3 young kids so it's the store for me for now. I love that table!
I'd like to think I am into yard sale repurposing but I'm more of a "looker" than "purchaser". Most of my things are second hand- but from friends, family and jobs.
i like the idea of repurposing flee market finds and combining them with new purchases.
I am totally a garage sale lovin girl! As our family grows, I love looking for things for our home and then repurposing them myself! This way it can be exactly what I want:) Recently I bought a high table at a garage sale and had my husband sand it for me and I stained the wood very dark and made it into a bar/display piece for our dining room!
I love the lime green and orange!
I love finding cheap things to repurpose at yard sales, in fact I have something in my garage right now to repurpose that someone gave me, however, it seems to take me a long time to actually do it!
D) All of the above. It's great to find treasures at flea markets or Craigslist, but once in a while you gotta splurge on a fab designer piece!
We will be moving in a couple of months and I'm looking forward to all sorts of remodeling and redesigning. Love that table!
I love thrift store finds that I can reinvent!
I love flea shop, Boho designs. It's eco-friendly too. I took some second-hand original white-painted rattan patio arm chairs and recovered the seat cushions in woolly white fleece.
