I’ve spent many a summer day lounging in a handmade hammock my dad brought me from Colombia. While I love the colors and pattern of my hammock, I’m not a fan of having it fold in on me, encasing me in a cocoon and making reading impossible! Somebody out there in design land shared my frustration when they created the Headdemock Hammock by Fatboy. Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. Enjoying a rare sunny day in Seattle– biking, hitting up the farmer's market and spending quality time in our backyard. Laying in a fabulous new hammock would fit the bill perfectly.
My favorite summer activity is going for a walk while the kids ride their bikes. But man, is it hot outside!
motorcycle ride to the coffee shop in the AM; return from that to slide into my new hammock; then wake up and take a moonlight ride around the lake; all the while wondering what the poor people are doing. that's a lie, I do not wonder.
The best thing to do on a lazy summer day is to go through the Sunday paper on the bed, floor, or maybe in this amazing hammock for two while eating Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey ice cream !!!
My favorite summer activity is spending time with our kids and our new lab puppy. This hammock will fit our whole family. Can't wait

My favorite thing to do in the summer is play at the beach all day. I've lived close to the beach my whole life and I have very fond memories of playing in the sand and the waves as a child. Now I have children of my own and we can't get enough of searching for crabs by the jetties, digging to China, and 'busting' (as my Texan friend calls it:) waves.

I love to read, watch TV or just relax on my screened in porch. An afternoon nap on the hammock sounds awesome!

My favorite way to escape the heat is to head for water! I don't have access to a pool in our new neighborhood so I can take what I can get. I love taking our dog Heidi for walks in the woods along a creek so she and I can run around and splash each other

When we are not in a heat wave, we love having friends and family over, hanging on the patio, kids playing in the yard. Bean Bag toss, BBQ and Beverages!

Just moved into a new house so trying my hand at gardening and decorating the new porch! Also love grilling outside and a nice cold drink in the rocking chairs! Hammock would be an awesome addition!
I like to spend the warmest days at the lake with my family. However, I cannot make it there during the work week so I enjoy going on walks later in the evening when the heat of the day has passed. Love watching the sunset and listen to the cicadas.

Summers are tough in Southern AZ but when the monsoons arrive, there is nothing better than sitting under the covered patio with a glass of wine watching the mass of lightening and feeling the vibration of the thunder boom and then the clouds open and a mass of rain falls dropping the temps up to 30 degrees! That is a great summer day.

At the end of a long summers day, I love to go outside in our backyard. Have a Cookout,, Play with the girls,make Smores. and Hotdogs….. Then ,,,,,, the kids the husband, the wife, and the dog……Campout on the trampoline…….Gaze at the stars and fall asleep thinking about your Perfect Summer Day..,
The perfect summer day would be spending the day with my family enjoying the incredible outdoors for a crawfish boil here in Louisiana, and after what would be more dreamy then all of us relaxing on one of your amazing Fatboy hammocks.
Lazy Summer days (In the Texan heat, nothing much else is possible)……with my daughter( it's her first summer!) in my arms in the beautiful,comfortable hammock ( Maybe that will finally make her take scheduled naps, and allow me some itsy bitsy naps too) with a long cool ice tea and an e- mail from my husband saying that he will soon be joining us ( he is currently in India.)…………….Purrfect………….meow!

We love to spend time poolside. Every year my husband's family gets a pool pass for my daughter's birthday. It's so nice to go even after work for an hour. It really helps cause we don't like to use our ac often. A hammock would be a nice way to relax in the shade after a long day at the pool!
Ahh, summer days, eating cold watermelon, grilling ribs, and wearing flip flops are some of my favorite summertime pasttimes.

my perfect day is going for a nice relaxing run in the morning. and then hopefully coming home to a new hammock in my backyard! it would be nice to be able to relax for a little after my run then get back to life :]
I don't know where else to put this but I hate Novogratz makeovers. Everything I have seen by them so far, is horrible and makes bad or ok places into nightmares. I know its just my opinion, but YUCK.
I'm dying to own a hammock….the best way to spend the summer is sitting outside with a cold glass of white wine, talking with friends and family and laughing till it hurts.
