Photos of interior designer Anna Spiro’s home always seem to surface on Pinterest and the various design blogs I follow, so I’ve long coveted her style. If I lived in Australia, I could just pop into her store, Black & Spiro, to pick up some unusual treasures. Alas, the plane fare from The Big Apple to The Land Down Under wouldn’t make that very cost-effective for me. Thankfully, Anna just launched a new online store, the aptly-titled Anna Spiro’s Absolutely Beautiful Things.

The store is laid out as a “vignette” where each item is numbered, and you can click the product numbers for more details and purchasing info. My favorite objects from this Winter 2011 vignette are the clever floral/geometric reversible pillows and the punchy Mexican embroidery, but I love seeing how all of her picks work together (even though it makes me want to go crazy, buy everything, and recreate the look at home).

So. Stinking. Cute. Not sure I could live with it, but it would make a fantastic desktop background!

Yeah, it's definitely a lot of style, and very girly compared to what I have going on in the rest of my apartment. Maybe if I had my own office…

Love the oases of color! But can I just observe that nothing quite says "I am a vapid idiot" than seeing books arranged by size and/or color instead of SUBJECT. What is it with designers?????

That wallpaper is giving me a migraine. On her online store, she does have some very cute things, though they are all sold out.

  6. I love getting the letters, but please usually do not go telling folks they are heading to obtain about one a week. We have been lucky to obtain 1 a month. You need to do a little better than that….or end the pinocchio stories at the extremely least. If an individual a month is what it is, then that’s what it is.

  7. Thank you for the insight, sharing this creates public awareness and we are a ll grateful for this. This should be acquired by all webmasters.

  9. Between me and my better half we’ve owned more MP3 players through the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, recent years I’ve been feeling relaxed to one distinct players. Why? Because I was pleased to discover how well-designed and fun to utilize the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  10. I needed to post you the bit of observation to say thanks a lot once again for your exceptional advice you’ve featured on this website. It has been so pretty generous of people like you to grant unhampered exactly what a lot of folks would’ve offered for sale for an e book to help with making some bucks for their own end, particularly given that you could possibly have tried it if you considered necessary. These techniques also acted to be the fantastic way to know that most people have a similar desire like mine to figure out a whole lot more with respect to this issue. I think there are thousands of more pleasant occasions up front for many who go through your blog post.
