I fancy myself something of a chowhound, and love to experiment in the kitchen, but my preference to freestyle a recipe sometimes illustrates the rift between culinary brainstorming and practical experience. Turns out, there are some things you can’t just wing. Like baking. Oops.

This graphic kitchen conversion poster by SweetFineDay is here to save the day. The attractive and practical print eliminates any confusion in a recipe, and illustrates exactly how much of each ingredient you need to use. So there’s no more blaming “the altitude” if your pie doesn’t come out. (Apologies to my foodie friends in Denver!)

This is becoming a bit more subjective, but I much choose the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, plus some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that allow you to quickly see related albums, songs, and other users associated with what you’re paying attention to. Clicking on some of those will focus on that item, and another pair of “neighbors” can come into view, letting you navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can also be great fun, permitting you to find others with shared tastes as well as becoming friends together. You then can focus on a playlist created according to an amalgamation products all your friends are enjoying, which can be enjoyable. Those related to privacy will probably be relieved to recognise you can avoid the public from seeing your individual listening habits should you so choose.
