Daily Delight: West Elm Glass Greenhouses
Glass houses: Not so great for stone-throwing purposes, but pretty excellent for growing plants, as these stylish West Elm terrariums demonstrate.
The terrariums trap condensation, which makes them perfect places for small plants and succulents to thrive, but you could use these in lieu of bell jars to display decorative objects instead. Or, you could do both, like the super-cool company Twig Terrariums does. You grow, girl!

This is beyond cool. I actually have an empty spot in the living room that has been needing something, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I tried pictures. Random collections. Now I know it needs a terrarium. Whodathunkit?!

I'm just trying to get these gardening delights out there while those of us in the Northeast can still use 'em. (End of summer usually means we get two nice weeks of perfect fall weather, then straight into a brutal winter.)
We have summer until Halloween, then an Indian summer again in November. January brings cold and the chance for 2 inches of snow. Wanna switch climates?

Marianne! I am happy to report that I've kept my Twig terrarium alive for over a month, even with my black thumb. There's hope for you!
