When beauty meets function, it’s truly a match made in heaven. There’s no better feeling than walking into a store, seeing something gorgeous, taking a closer look and discovering it’s multi-functional. (“It has storage, too! SQUEEE!”) That’s what I love about these vine design garden stools from Outer Banks Trading Group. They are super stylish conversation pieces, come in several colors and make fantastic seating options both indoors and out.

Freebie Fridays

We’re giving away one of these superb ceramic stools this week for Freebie Fridays. The winner gets to choose from any of the fab colors above. (I’m partial to the orange one, but the choice is yours.) To be entered for a chance to win, simply leave us a comment in the field below before 12/11c Monday, September 5.

This week’s question: If you are the winner, where and how would you use this indoor/outdoor garden stool? Front porch or back patio? As a side table in your living room or a stool in your master bedroom?

I would be using the black and white ones in my living room. Would be so great beside my "lazy girl" chair to sit my current novel or a cup of coffee as I was reading. Plus what great extra seating when entertaining. LOVE them!

  2. Mary Anna says:

these totally have my daughters name all over it!!! We just redid her room and I know itI wouldn't matter what colour because I know she could make it work anywhere:)

  3. Cindy says:

like the black background one; would go in my bedroom as a plant stand if we get lucky and win!

  8. Fran says:

My kitchen is painted orange. I have the prefect corner for the orange and white stool. I'll sit it in a corner as a side table with a cute little chair. You can't be sad when surrounded by orange!

  9. Simone says:

I would get the black and white one, and use it in my kitchen as a plate holder for appatizers!!! :p

  10. Karen says:

I have the perfect spot for it in my office…I knew if I waited long enough, the right piece would show up!

  11. Pab says:

Should I be the very lucky winner I would give it to my fabulous sister-in-law as a belated birthday gift. Difficult economic conditions prevented me from giving her a gift this year. She has been my best friend for 20+ years and always been there for me…and I know that hasn't always been easy. Kim and my brother have a new home and she has been enjoying decorating their new space, including the open screened porch and gardens. With her creativity she would find just the right spot for a pop of color.

  12. Terri says:

Wow, hard to choose one color, but if I had one of these it would go in my bathroom . Nice place to set my coffee, book while soaking in the tub.

  13. Nicole says:

    love the dark green one!

  14. Karen Ray says:

Wow!!!! Ican't think of where not to use these garden drum tables. First, next to the tub holding towels. Second, with a glass top as a side table. The Japanese Kiri on the drum is perfect for displaying my vintage Phoenix Bird porcelain. A tea or chocolate Phoenix set would look both old and new on a glass top covering the drum. I don't have a lastly—go on and on!

  15. Harley says:

If I was chosen to receive this stool, I would give it to my mother for her birthday. She has always been so selfless, putting her three daughters before herself for the past 22 years. I know she would love to draw inspiration from a single piece while she is remodeling the outdoor patio and her zen garden area. This stool would be such a fantastic spring board for her new design ideas!

We waited 8 years to afford our new solarium .now we use it all the time . It was a perfect place to sit and watch the snow pile up outside the windows last winter. We have always admired these garden stools. One would fit nicely in our pretty room. All the colors are lovely. How do you choose ?

  45. Lainey Snyder says:

Oh man, I've been looking for that plash of color & need a table too – for the front porch.! My curb appeal is a white house with charcoal trim. Hit me with some color… please.

  46. Susan says:

The green and white vine stool would look lovely outside on my porch up against my green home [with white trim]. I'd put it next to my outdoor settee for holding my glass of lemonade and it would be great for extra seating when guests come over. Thanks!

I would use the green one on my front porch to match my black and white stripe seat cushions and green pillows!!!
