I learned from an early age about the decorative power of a beautiful table lamp. Growing up in Atlanta, I visited many a home with a gorgeously appointed sitting room or parlor that exuded that quintessential Southern charm. My friend’s moms were lovely hostesses who always produced a glass filled with sweet tea or ice-cold Coca-Cola within minutes of a guest’s arrival. Conversation flowed effortlessly in these intimate spaces beautifully lit by a perfect set of table lamps. (I can practically feel my Southern accent coming back just remembering those times.) Listen y’all, we all know good lighting can make or break a room. And that a table lamp is one of the easiest ways to update the look of a space. I love riding pass houses that have a lamp on in the foyer …a "I'll leave a light on for you". Then to actually get to walk into a home and feel the welcome…that is the feeling I want for my home. So hey… I like "Mr. Babcock"!
I am not sure I could choose between the Botanical Garden and the Marianna! We just moved into a new home and while we have the bones of what we need to finish most of the rooms, they still need some styling with accessories. These table lamps remind me of my grandmother who was always on the hunt for new lamps, she thought lamps were like jewlery for a room! The Botanical Garden would be perfect in our living room while the Marianna would be perfect in our new family room.

All three of these lamps are beautiful and unique. I am about to redecorate and one of these would be a perfect starting point! The marianna is my favorite and would amp up my decor if I won it.
My Mom always loved a good lamp- we would go hunting for them at estate sales and antique shops. So for me, beautiful lamps always make me think of my mom. I also love how they make a room look finished.
my room is small and dark. I currently don't own any table lamps for my room, and would love to add the marianna to my room. It is beautiful, and would serve a much needed function.
Lighting sets the atmosphere in a room. I prefer low level, washing light as opposed to bright overheads. Lamps can fulfill this by adjusting the bulb wattage. By the way, I love that open work white lamp! Happy weekend everyone!
I found an old beautiful lamp at a yard sale. My husband added a new light kit for safety reasons and I added a new lamp shade, it totally makes the room. Lamps are timeless.
I think a table lamp defines the style and mood of a room. is my favorite accesory in home decor.

Beautiful table lamps are wonderful accessories; they bring color combinations together, provide soft light, and make a room feel really cozy. They're also helpful when you need to leave a little light on for the dog

Love all three — there's one for every taste. Traditional, contemporary and romantic. Don't know which I like best, but with my decor, I think the first two. But the other one is so unique, too.
Table lamps can really update a room; I can always picture my moms 80's lamps in the bedrooms and my grandmothers 70's gold with glass accent lamp….and cringe. The look of a lamp and shade can be the first thing to update- and make a huge difference in the overall look of the room at night to brighten up a space that could otherwise be dark and scary.
I have bought a floor model leather sectional sofa of dark brown and love it. It came with a very lovely, modern, glass lamp with a white rectangle shade. I have gifted that lamp, an older well cared for couch, coffee table and TV to a very good friend from over seas who is just starting out.
I love the two warmer lamps pictured. I'm all about warmth and feeling good when I walk into a room.
So either of these two will be good in my space

I have lamps everywhere in my home all different shapes sizes and colors.I love the way they change a space by moving them to a different room with other things. You cant miss with a beautiful lamp.
The right lamp can make the entire room complete, it is both functional, and a great way to accessorize.

The Southern Home's Marianna Lamp would be the perfect accent to add more interest to my cozy sitting room where I like to read and have my morning latte. A room without a beautiful lamp is definitely missing something and that is why I love them.
The marianna is so beautiful it has such an airy feel but yet can still the show in a second especially with the addition of a lampshade in a bright deep color to bring it front and center.
It sounds cliche, lamps are like jewelry in a room. It is that bit of color or sparkle that brightens a corner and makes a space feel dressed. I have a pumpkin orange, tall, curvy lamp in my entry that makes me smile every time I pass it.
