I learned from an early age about the decorative power of a beautiful table lamp. Growing up in Atlanta, I visited many a home with a gorgeously appointed sitting room or parlor that exuded that quintessential Southern charm. My friend’s moms were lovely hostesses who always produced a glass filled with sweet tea or ice-cold Coca-Cola within minutes of a guest’s arrival. Conversation flowed effortlessly in these intimate spaces beautifully lit by a perfect set of table lamps. (I can practically feel my Southern accent coming back just remembering those times.) Listen y’all, we all know good lighting can make or break a room. And that a table lamp is one of the easiest ways to update the look of a space. I love, love, love lamps, of all kinds! First of all I am 61 and can't see as well as I used to, but mostly I like them becuase of the thousands of different kinds, colors and unique styles. I took am an avid reader and we have three lamps in our living room, plus an overhead light! I like all three of the lamps shown, but there are a lot out thereto woo you with! Lamps are up there with shoes and purses, you can't have enough of them!
I love table lamps because I use one on my desk to reduce computer screen glare and one for reading light.

I love mood lighting! First off I feel that a good table lamp is almost like the sprinkles on a cup cake. Table lamps add that additional pop color-not to mention charm, sparkle and ambiance. I love table lamps. my living room and family room are not complete without those table lamps. it's not just table lamp, that you just go to the store and buy it. I have to find a nice decorative lamp that I really like that will go nice to some stuff in my house. but money is tough all the time, I bought mine in some retail store. going around in every store to find that you like and compare prices was not easy, but it was fun !
My husband and I have a passion for lamps. He is introverted and I on the other hand extroverted., so browsing, shopping for, and maybe buying a new one if in the budget, is something we have in common. I have very monochrome furniture in my main living area and I have to brighten it up with accessories. In my opinion, table lamps are the ultimate accessory in any room. In fact, in a monochrome room like mine, they actually become the centerpieces! Love all three of your lamps!

I was lucky enough to find a gorgeous lamp at a flea market for just $8.00, cut glass, a classic ivory shade, looks great on my bedside table.

our home is like many of the newer builds — they either forgot or neglected to install ceiling lights so table and/or floor lamps in every room are a must. i'm torn between the botanical garden and marianna lamp — both are beautiful and would look lovely in my home!

Absolutely love table lamps in my rooms. The soft, ambient lighting sets a mood that overhead lighting cannot. That's especially true for those of us that live in homes 15 years and older that have can lighting in the ceiling – wow, not flattering.
When we entertain, I love turning off the ceiling lights and turning on all my table lamps and lighting candles for the best mood lighting ever! I've also learned over the years that a table lamp is just as much of an accessory as a vase or drapes in a room. It can add so much to the decor (or take away).
