With the end of Fashion Week, I can only imagine the industry buzz surrounding the spring/summer 2012 clothing trends and styles we’ll see next year. So of course, I was super excited to see the recent release of Pantone’s Fashion Color Report for Spring 2012. The report features the top 10 colors for women’s fashion for spring 2012. And with enticing names like Margarita (Pantone 14-0116) and Tangerine Tango (Pantone 17-1463), I’m dying to skip over a few seasons (sorry Mother Nature) to fully engulf myself in these luscious hues. For spring, designers are especially inspired by diverse influences and lifestyles, creating contemporary classics, vivid brights and fun-loving pastels. We found some of Pantone’s new beauties in some of our favorite spaces. Take a look!

I know it’s a little early to be talking about spring since we’re just now stepping into fall, but what do you think about Pantone’s color report? Do you think any of these hot colors will translate to your interior, too? (I would slather Cockatoo everywhere if I could.)

Tangerine Tango makes my heart beat faster, and Sodalite Blue is a close second. Oh, Spring!
I want all of these colors as nail polishes now, please!
I have sweaters in half of these colours! It's the only thing I like about winter…… such gorgeous colours.
My vote is Sodalite Blue all the way. I can see this color working for hazy winter days, maybe as an oversized shawl or woven blanket, just as I can picture it with crisp white for spring!
Falling in love with Cockatoo! I love bright and happy colors in my house. It just gives so much energy and great vibes to my family.
I've always choose pieces that are colorful and pair it with White. The colors pop up! Recent home decor loot was a colorful painting from an Australian artist I met on a fair and she just makes amazing paintings! http://www.theartofhappiness.net/lovers_paintings…
Love the Cockatoo! Reminds me of a day at the beach, or a vacation in the Caribbean. It also makes me feel cool when everything around me is so scorching HOT! Hello from the west coast of sunny Florida!
Love the colors – many of these hues are some of my personal faves anyway, especially in terms of my wardrobe. Would love to see some examples / ideas on HGTV's site combining some of these shades (e.g., Tangerine Tango and Cockatoo or Cabaret and Soladite Blue). I'm imagining the possibilities already…:)
My fave is the Pantone Bellflower color, followed by the rest.
I do not like the first Pantone Cabernet and Orange. Uuuuuuugly!!!
AAAACCCKKKK!!!! Pretty colors but I would never use any of them in my home.
Love seeing the bright vibrant colors for spring!
