Just in time for the holidays, this week’s winner will get everything they need to fill their home with the sounds of the season — or drown out the in-laws. We’re giving away a complete Sonos wireless home music system, which combines three integrated speakers powered by three digital amps into one streamlined, rich-sounding stereo. Use it vertically or horizontally; tucked onto a shelf or front-and-center. We’re also throwing in a wireless bridge, so you can stream music into any room. Control it all with a free app for your iPad, iPhone or Android. Not tech-savvy? Give it to that geek in your life and prepare to be bear hugged.

Silent Night is my all time favorite for a few reasons, not only does it remind us of the reason for the season with the birth of Jesus but it reminds me of our baby boy we had 9 years ago who died after living only 8 days. He passed away Nov. 8 2001. I don't remember how the turkey tasted or how mashed the potatoes were I just remember the hole in my heart. That Christmas, which was to be his "first" was gut wrenching. My husband, our older daughter & son, and myself stood before our tree with Baby's 1st Christmas ornaments to hang while in the background Silent Night began to play on the radio. For the past 9 years we still hang the ornaments and it happens just like it did the first year Silent Night ALWAYS begins to play on the radio…it's rather freaky at first but now we've come to rely on the tradition knowing it is our Little Angel wishing us a Merry Christmas!

I would live to welcome others into my home with the wonderful sounds of the holiday. I am trying to truly get in the spirit this year and enjoy family, friends and soon to be friends!

  8. Christi Hepler says:

My favorite song is "I'll Be Home For Christmas", because at Christmas, there is no place like home with your family!!

  9. Stephanie says:

Nate King Cole is always at the top of my music list during the holidays. I grew up with him and my kids knows the history as well. This is one tradition I hope they keep going with my future grandkids.

  10. Dwana says:

My personal tradition is that the first Christmas song I play for the season is Andy Williams' version of "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". Then I blend in smooth jazz Christmas songs to keep the joyfulness going.
