I love the colorful-eclectic dining room. The mix of rustic and elegant pieces, textures and pops of color, makes it look comfortable and inviting. The chandelier's color and style gives the room the finishing touch!

  2. Mary Adams says:

I like #1 the best of the ones pictured here because it is more elegant. What I would really like is a nice long table that extends to seat about 16 people and then you could have a real family dinner.

  3. Rebecca says:

I prefer the Art Deco Mid-Century Modern, my daughter prefers the cozy appearance of the Eclectic… both have very bold chandeliers – it was difficult to choose. I changed and opted to the Eclectic as I could see my family together in that room… I would probably be alone in the Mid-Century Modern room hah hah

  4. Lahoma says:

Colorful & Eclectic definitely. Gives you an immediate feeling of easy atmosphere. It's also a budget-friendly design look that many people can duplicate somewhat inexpensively by shopping on Craigslist or thrift stores. Well, with the exception of that eye-catching chandelier, that is. And if you're going to splurge on anything in a dining room, I'd say the chandelier would be one item to drop a little more change on.

  5. Billi C says:

Seriously none of them. The colorful one is the best but they all seem overly put together.

  6. Andrea Banks says:

I love #3, New Traditional because it is just that, with the crown molding and the fireplace and textures and tones of the furniture, rug, wallpaper, it's a blend of the old and the old new! I love it, love it, love it!

  7. kpink says:

Colorful and eclectic! The table is wonderful, look how many can sit there. the chandelier is fabulous and that IS the color, the rest of the room is neutral beautiful eclectic pieces. The room feels cozy but not cramped, I can enviosion a convivial dinner party here. The other rooms had nice qualities but colorful and eclectic gets my vote.

  8. Rita says:

All the rooms were very beautiful however I think I'm drawn to the Traditional.I like the use of wallpaper and the mixing of the patterns.

  9. Sheryl Hohler says:

#1 I love the rustic elegance of it..
    Stunning & Beautiful

  10. Kathy says:

The colorful eclectic is the warmest and most comfortable. I like the wood elements in the room.

  11. Bryan says:

Hey-Mid-century modern's clean and simple lines "allow" the star of the room to shine-the food!

  12. Kristie Creeger says:

The Colorful + Eclectic has a beach feeling to it yet also elegant. I love it, so comfortable and inviting.

  13. cathy says:

I love something in every room but my favorite is the New Traditional. That tree is over the top! And I love the color of the blue around the fireplace and on the molding, baseboard, etc. The chairs look comfy, I could see myself lingering after dinner at that table and loving the feel of the carpet on my barefeet!! Looks like a great room to relax after a great meal or have family game night in.

  14. Tamara says:

I like the colors mainly – bold, yet clean. HOWEVER, I like the comfort of the Colorful & Eclectic – very tough choice for me

  15. debi says:

had to pick one but none of them are my taste. The chairs were uninviting except for the New Traditional was the closet if i had to pick one.

  16. Judy henderson says:

Clean and contemporary, loved the simple lines, the 50's came to mind, fun and food in one room. Those chairs call out for you to come and enjoy family and friends

  17. Shirley S says:

I like the New Traditional dining room. I already have those colors in my dining/living room, but my rooms lack the stylish decorating. Everybody screams "EEEEK" when I suggest wallpapering the walls. I love my things but don't know how to put them all together and make them look good. I wish someone would volunteer to decorate for me… maybe I'll just copy this picture :)

  18. Anita Costanzo says:

I was completely torn between #2 (Clean Contemporary) and the Mid-Century Modern. I would probably be equally at home in either one (and prefer minimal decor)…I was torn due to the fact that Mid Century Modern is my style of choice (with minimal decor), and the fact that the Clean Contemporary has enough modern and minimalistic design elements to give m.c. mod a run for its money. The tie breaker for me was the sideboard, cabinet, and shape of dining table for a holiday gathering. Lovely work, all!!

  19. Tracey Bowens says:

I absolutely love the warmth and coziness of the colorful eclectic. There is something romantic and authentic about it.

  20. Kelly says:

I love the mid century modern the shape of the furniture with it's clean lines and the pops of color is fun and comfortable and stylish all at the same time.:p

  21. David Munoz says:

Truthfully they are all lacking creativity, this is not good to see that these are all very weak. I’m surprise to see these are my choices, HGTV don’t lower your standards, I’m extremely surprise because you are always so right on… I’m a clothing designer but I know when something is missing a vital piece to say ” I have to have this look”.

  22. Misty says:

New traditional has a nice color palette, but those patterns all compete with each other. I don't like it.

  23. MsJoie says:

I like the Cont. dining room for the clean lines and very low maintainence of the room.

  24. Angela says:

For sure the Mid-Century Modern! Takes me back in time when things were not so complicated and families enjoyed sharing their day over dinner and life was fun.

  25. Kim says:

I love the mid century modern! Usually I find the modern style too cold and sterile, but with this paint color and interesting/fun light fixture, it softens it up and gives it a comfortable feel.

  26. Dessie Foor says:

I like the Colorful & Eclectic Dinning Room because it's a hodgepodge of things that make it look lived in. I can definitely see myself in this room eating my meals with my family and not worrying about making a mess.

  27. Vanessa Zantt says:

Love the colorful, ecclectic room. Chandelier is a fabulous focal point.

  28. franzena epps says:

I love colorful & electic, that light fixture is gorgeous, something to talk about while your at that beautiful table having dinner!

  29. Patty says:

Truly, none of the four designs would be an "absolute" first choice for me, personally, because, when I think of "dining", I think of a more intimate atmosphere, whether it is two people, or twelve, but from the four choices, the eclectic would be the better choice, and predominantly due to the fact that it appears to deliver a more comfortable feeling for simply taking time to enjoy a relaxed meal with family and/or friends. It has a reclined, but formal feel, and at the same time, there is a sense of formality with simplicity, along with the right splashes of color to brighten the soft neutral tones.

  30. Louise Nigro says:

I choose the Electric Dining Room for it contemporary feel the room enhances. Has a lovely rich classy cozy conversation table.. The turquoise chandelier ties the room together with that modern touch and feel..It's SOooo contemporary, and modern. Yet cozy and comfortable enough to hang out with friends and family for many hours..

  31. robin says:

That turquoise chandelier was the best!!!

  32. Cindy says:

I liked the first one because of all the color and it just looked warmer to me. The one thing I didn’t like was the bird cage looking thing on the desk. The other rooms were too boring or too cold. I think it was called colorful & ecentric.

  33. Shannon says:

colorful and eclectic…except for the chandalier…not a big fan of that…..i liked the modern rooms but felt they needed just a bit of warmth…..the new traditional was a little overwhelming for me….but i'm sure it's perfect for someone else~

  34. Noelle says:

Frankly, none of them would be my choice – Like mine better than any of them!!

  35. Sharon Ibanez says:

First I liked the Mid-Century Modern for the beauty and well balance room. I vote for Eclectic because is more my style in my designs. I will prefer turquoise crystals in the chandelier, instead of the beads…I would change the wooden legs in the marble table for rough iron. I read some of the comments and we all have our opinions…but let us be more open minded and appreciate the creation of the designer and understand what they were thinking when they create and visualize this rooms…Blessings!

  36. Judy says:

Absolutely the Clean + Contemporary. Looks so calm and relaxing. Love it.

  37. Katherine says:

The dining room I voted for was Clean and Contemporary. The room itself is structurally pleasing, and everything in the room enhances the classic architectural details, paint colors, drape, rug, lighting. But it was the chairs that sold me. That's the wow factor in the room. Sleek, sculptural, with a retro wood vibe. Very dramatic yet controlled tension. A work of art.

  38. Sherry says:

I can see my dinner guests and I hanging out in the Colorful & Eclectic dining room after dinner. It feels welcoming.

  39. Alice White says:

    colorful and eclec
tic, love the wood, and simplicity, just my style.

  40. Nancy King says:

I love the WHITE and the clean look—also the round table so everyone can see everyone else and visit.

  41. Angie H. says:

While I like elements of each room, I'd have to choose the dining room #1. I LoVe the chandelier..that turquoise color is yummy! ;) Also, love the contrast of the marble table top against the rustic legs of the dining table! Wow, what about the stairs banister..beautiful detail!

  42. Ann Arnold says:

I love the eclectic, but would remove some items from the table. This is a beautiful dining room in which to not only eat but linger long past dinner in conversations.

  43. Debbie says:

I said in my comment that I liked #3, but it's #2 that was the lesser of the evils. It would be nice if everyone said which number they were commenting on, and if the photos were on the same page as the voting.

  44. Patricia S Doherty says:

I like the mixture of furniture and accessories.

  45. sarah s. says:

Room # 3 is gorgeous! I love the look from floor to ceiling. My eye is drawn to each layer of the room. Very visually stimulating.

  46. sherie corbin says:

Im more traditional, I love the painted tree on the wall, and I like how the designs are all different but the colors all work together, and I love how you brought the outside into the room!

  47. j.s.hendricks says:

Don't like ANY of them for my own house–a couple of them looked like the paint store had a sale on the ugly, discontinued colors. The "Clean Contemporary" was the least offensive, but really, none of the rooms/tables could fit a good-sized family group–we usually have at least 10-12 for sitdown in our dining room!

  48. Arlene Ruiz says:

I love the 'colorful – eclectic' one. I love the various textures and the juxtaposition of the rustic table legs and the chairs. Genius, very inviting to sit and enjoy your guests.

  49. J Strong says:

I choose dining room # 3. The bones of the architecture have a grand scale coupled with the warmth of a fireplace. In contrast, the colors and patterns that were selected for the walls and the seating fabric add a bit of flirty whimsey anchored by the more traditional patterned rug resting on the warm wood floor. Restful, but fun.

  50. tiffanie says:

Love the colors in New Traditional, although not as warm and cozy as I usually like dining rooms, I found the design unique and fun and I think children (and adults) would dig eating breakfast in that room!
