My favorite part of Christmas Eve was (and still is) leaving cookies and milk for Santa. Due to my dairy allergy, the only kind of milk we keep in the house is soy or almond, but Santa never seems to mind. Maybe because I make up for it with the presentation. For instance, I know the big guy would forgive my vegan goodies if I left them on a tartan plate from Pendleton.

Anything would look festive on such pretty plaid. Even some humble Nutter Butters! Of course, if you want to bake Santa some cookies from scratch, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind one of our favorite recipes: Trisha Yearwood’s Iced Sugar CookiesIcebox CookiesHealthier Chocolate Chip Cookies, Super Chocolate Cookies, and Shortbread Cookies. Ho ho hope you have a merry little Christmas, and you get everything on your wish list.
