Are you hosting a New Year’s Eve party this year? I’m heading out to one of my favorite cocktail lounges in the city to celebrate with friends, but if I was throwing a bash at home, I’d definitely be taking decorating inspiration from these sparkly garlands and piñatas from Confetti System.

There’s something nostalgic and youthful about these designs that’s reminiscent of a childhood birthday party, but the clean shapes and sophisticated color palettes say “chic adult.” And nothing calls to mind New Year’s Eve like glam metallics. I think it would be a blast to fill one of the geometric piñatas with grown-up prizes (gift cards, movie tickets, nice costume jewelry, etc.), and let everyone take a swing at midnight, but they’re so pretty I can’t blame you if you can’t bear to take a bat to it.

So pretty and would be perfect for celebrating the New Year! Check out my holiday drink that I'll be drinking on Jan 1st!

Christina, that Peppermint White Russian looks delish! I'd have to make mine with soy or almond milk because of my dairy allergy, but I bet it'd work just as well. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you have a great NYE!

If you want a great idea for kids here is what you do. First get confetti, non-blown up balloons, and a funnel. Second, use the funnel to put confetti into the balloon. Then, blow the balloon up. You can pop it with a pin and BOOM!!! out come the confetti. :p
Weird, I can’t seem to find the RSS. Am I missing something?
Hi there, the RSS is all the way at the top right of the blog, above the header and next to the search field. Hope that helps!
