As the new year begins, I resolve to get organized. I usually start my new year inventorying the spaces I need to declutter and then purchasing of slew of items to help me tidy them. Since I work from home, this year I’m focusing on my cluttered office. Here’s my wishlist of pretty, colorful organizing products:
My iPhone holds my calendar, notes, contacts and absolutely every app I need to keep my company running. To keep your technological tools in good shape, look into protective cases. I love this Live Colorfully case from Kate Spade.
Poppin is my favorite place to go for office accessories that pop. I mean, they make a simple tape dispenser look cool in bright shades of yellow and green. And I love this bright orange desk set. It has enough compartments to organize sticky notes, paper clips and push pins, and your favorite pens as well.
Even though I adore my iPhone, I can’t give up my notebooks. I use them to write shopping lists, take meeting notes and to jot down daily reminders. This Archie Grand blank journal from J.Crew is a great way to track your fave blogs, or anything else you’d like.
If you’re a list addict, you can definitely keep lists in style with these Russell & Hazel Quips & Queries cards. Choose a custom color and phrase for your very own set. I love it in pink. Can you imagine that small hint of color in an otherwise neutral office? So chic and stylish.
And while I’m a tech junkie, I also love old-fashioned paper calendars. This over-sized version from Paper Source leaves room to write down notes and important to-dos for the month.
Finally, I always purchase a set of iomoi pens. Just looking at the colors and patterns gives me warm fuzzies.
Now you know my plan. How are you going to keep organized in 2012?
