I’m on a bowl roll lately! First, I found my dream “never-soggy” cereal bowl, the Obol, and shared it with you. This morning, I was sipping coffee and flipping through the new February/March issue of HGTV Magazine, as you do, when I found a) the mid-century modern dog bowls I Daily Delighted a bit ago, and b) another magically-designed dish that solves a major cocktail party problem. It’s called the Double Dish, and I spotted it on p. 139, if you’re following along at home. (Don’t have a copy of the magazine handy? Why not hit up a newsstand, or better yet, subscribe!)

You know that totally awkward moment when you’re at someone’s wine and cheese get-together and you’re noshing on some pistachios, and then have no good place to put the shells? The Double Dish feels your pain. The stacked design lets you drop anything inedible — even toothpicks — into the outer bowl. Now we can all munch on cherries and edamame a little more elegantly, too. And I will never again serve olives without the Double Dish, because that would be the pits. (Oh, yes I did.)
