My husband is not well, so we will be spending a quiet night at home and will be thankful for another year together.
Valentines Day has ALWAYS been a very special day in our home. LOVE doing special meaningful things with my children & family. Handmade cards and heart shaped cookies are my favorites. Oh, and I must admit to a nice warm beautifully scented bath and a very large cup of coffee for a nice long music filled time in my bath. Obviously followed by a nice warm robe and a nice warm & fresh bed to sleep in. Good night to you all ! : – )
Quiet night at home with my hubby and toddler
This Valentines Day, it will be exactly one year since my husband drove all the way from NY to surprise me at my work, whisk me off to my favorite wrought iron bridge, and ask me to marry him! This year, we are planning to go out to dinner at the same romantic restaurant we ate at last year, and maybe go see a movie. My husband wanted to be in charge of the plans, so I'm leaving it up to him!
My husband has been very sick and I’m not sure how many more Valentine’s we will have together, so we are going to spend time at home enjoying being together and maybe enjoying some time in the hot tub.
Staying in "most definately" with my amazing hubby is the way to go! Children will be in the picture for a short while, but like all children….they eventually fall asleep
Can't wait to treat my love to a yummy meal.
Because of my boyfriends job, we will have to celebrate on the weekend. A day of waking up whenever we feel, making a ridiculous breakfast of waffles, mimosas, and whatever our hearts desire. Even though we wont see each other on Valentines Day, we still get to celebrate a day of our love for each other and not worry about anything else going on. A day of bliss
Well, my hubby will receive a yummy gift from the M&M Company, with love messages on the candies. I love surprising him.
My wife will get a gift of sorts…jewelry as usual. Love V-Day.
My husband and I will more than likely celebrate this Valentine's Day, our 32nd, at home, simply because when we have tried to celebrate away from home at the places that we like, they are extremely crowded, and I especially hate crowds.
My hubby and I will be staying in for valentine day. I haven't been feeling well with the numerous chemo drugs I'm on.
My boyfriend and I will be keeping it simple
I will be spending with my 3 beautiful adopted girls…..and the man we love. Favorite dinner and a movie.
I really need a decent robe….
This year I am sending roses to my wife at work and balloons to my daughter in daycare. I'm sure we will end the night with a nice dinner and a movie.
15 years ago my husband surprised me with a bathrobe from the hotel we had a romantic get away – it was a wonderful surprise and I think about it whenever I wear it. As you can image, a new robe is over due. For our get away this year (for our 37th year of marriage) we are going to Pebble Beach to watch golf and also visit some local wineries.
I was divorced recently…not my choice. So I choose to celebrate with my wonderful golden retrievers and pekingnese. They are the three constants in my life who give me unconditional love. And now that I've adjusted to my situation my life is very peaceful. We will have a quiet, cozy evening and those luxurious robes will fit right into our plans. I sure do hope to win!
this valentines we will hopefully go on a nice date, its up to mu husband.
I do love giving valentines to people though, the cute homemade cards that have meaning so maybe my kids and I will be delivering those.
Happenings for Valentine's Day include my husband and I revving up the kids to make heart projects for each other. Spending time making dinner together, hubby is a chef so cooking is key! Ending the day as a family watching a cartoon or romantic comedy together. We keep it pretty low key!
what better way to spend Valentine's Day than to spend it with my 3 year old grandchildren who happen to be twins!!!!
We will start our day making heart pancakes topped with strawberries and then we will make valentine cards for mommy and daddy and one special one for grandpa!!!!!!
Last week my husband and I got married. I asked him what our plans were and he responded, "We're going to extend our honeymoon."
My husband and I have been together for nearly 40 years. Valentine's Day changes over time but never have we not done something .
Every Valentine's Day for the last 3 years, my husband has found mechanical valentine's day stuffed animals that sing. For example, one is a dalmatian when turned on by the paw opens his fireman's raincoat ,dances, and the song "brick house" plays (all very G-rated). Not only are these fun for me, my grandson loves them! So I'm hoping to get another one. My husband likes chocolate so every year I find a new chocolate for him. He loves truffles! Harder to find really good ones any more but I plan ahead and find them. So it takes time. Also, he loves to buy music on Amazon and I give him a card with an Amazon gift certificate.
My grandson, always says Hapty (yes – Hapty — not a typo) Valentine's Day, Mom. (He calls me Mom because everyone else does) He give me munchies (kisses) and a big hug. These presents make my Valentine's Day the most special! I smile for a week and share the stories with my students. They know my grandson very well now by his nickname, Monkey. So they are always curious to hear new "Monkey" stories.
This year the hubby and I are planning on grilling some steaks, splurging on chocolate fondue and watching Midnight in Paris, in honor of the Oscars.
Hubby of almost 57 years will be out of town, but will visit by cell phone and eat out on the week-end.. It's been a long time since that first box of chocolates!
I will be working as a critical care nurse, helping heal real broken hearts so they are able to spend more time with those they love! Then I will go home to spend time with my husband of 37 years, the man I married at eighteen. Marriage isn't always a walk in the park, but it's worth the work to keep working on the relationship, I believe marriage IS falling in love with the same person over and over again.
I never missed a days entry and dont plan on it good luck to every body 11 more to go.
my hubby and i will spend the evening – enjoy a home cooked meal and hopefully wrap up in the warm fuzzy robes.
This year past been hard for me, I think god for my husband support. I have two of children in military oversea on tour, and one children been going cancer treatment in a different state that me. And I have a birthday coming up here in a week… I will try to enjoy my valentine's day and birthday. I do miss my loves.
We will be spending a quiet night relaxing in the hot tub and watching a good movie.
I'll be staying in with my hubby and 4 smaller valentines.
My husband and our two boys will be eating a candlelight "fancy" dinner. They are 4 and 6 -and love to eat that way on special occasions!
We will be celebrating by dragging our two chairs onto the porch to watch the deer and the geese at the farm we just bought. THEN we will drag our two chairs back inside so we can sit and eat dinner in style, and THEN we will drag our two chairs into the bedroom so we can sit down while we take off our boots before we go to bed. I don;t know, i think we need to break down and buy furniture, what do you think? It's still pretty darn fun.
I plan to have a dinner date with the 4 most important men in my life. My husband and 3 boys! We will be staying in and having a Valentine themed dinner.
Valentines 2012??? Sadly, hothing for myself. Happily and willingly, I'll babysit my two nephews (ages 1 and 3) so my sister and her husband can go out. Just me, the boys, and some baking cookies and fun! And, if my parents are up for it- treat them to a dinner (lobster for my mom!) at their favorite restaurant.
My husband and I plan on BBQ a steak k with all the extras on top with a baked potatoes and a salad. You say boring I say not it’s a special get away after along day at work. We will also rent a movie and he always brings me flowers. We have special wine and just enjoy each other company. Who says you have to go out to have a good time… Flowers peddles in the bathtub and a tall glass of wine now that sounds like a Happy Valentines Day .
This Valentine's Day, my husband and I will celebrate how our family survived the month long remodel of our only bathroom! With two young kids and two busy adults, it wasn't easy. Somehow LOVE always finds a way to bring our family closer and allows us to endure more than we may think is possible. The two bathrobes would be a perfect addition to our celebration!

My husband and I will be going out to dinner and enjoying one another's company–just the way we have for 30 years now!
I'm actually on the board of a Fine Art Photography group, and we're having a meeting that night that I can't miss. So I'll be going to a meeting and listening to a lecture, and then afterward going to one of the member's studio and mingling with members (hoping to persuade some to run for the board, ha ha).
I may eat some chocolate and drink some wine, but I'd better not do anything romantic, lol!
This year we will be married 37 years. On Valentines Day we will be celebrating our love and commitment to each other and our wonderful family. We are BLESSED with two sons and six beautiful Grandchildren.
We are more in love today than the day we were married. I will be making us a special candlelight dinner.
We'll be taking our little boy to our favorite restaurant. We've had 16 wonderful years of marriage and are finally expecting our little girl in a couple of months. Yay! Lots to celebrate
I am taking my beautiful wife out for a romantic dinner!
I am going to take my fiance out to dinner and try to express to him how much I appreciate all he does to keep me grounded.
We are getting married! Just a quaint little courthouse ceremony. We are both in law enforcement and have to work the rest of the week but we will go to a local beach for the honeymoon over the weekend!
Spending my single time with other singles………hoping soon for a mate.
