Daily Delight: Trina Turk’s Psychedelic Rug

You know the saying, “If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever”? That’s how I feel about this Trina Turk Coachella hook rug. I spotted it on Zinc Door a while back and fancied it, but had too many other delights on deck to post about it at the time. Then I saw Trina’s Palm Springs recommendations on The List Collective yesterday, and it came back to mind. (Fun fact: Palm Springs is in California’s Coachella Valley, the rug’s namesake. Also, I love Palm Springs.)

It’s so psychedelic in the best way possible. Remember the trippy animation they used to have on Sesame Street segments from the 70s, like the Pinball Number Count? It’s been distilled in rug form here. Fluid lines, groovy colors and happy nostalgia — they can be yours forever. I know I’m not letting this stunner get away from me a second time.
