• Tell Your Friends

Other animals have been challenging birds’ supremacy in design for a while now, and though creatures like horses have been making strides, birds are still ever-present. Maybe it’s because there are so many kinds of birds and they all signify different things. Owls were a noticeable stand-out for a while. Could hummingbirds be next? According to Yahoo!, searches on hummingbirds are spiking this week, perhaps due to the return of warmer weather. If you’re looking to incorporate them into your decor, this stunning Alexander McQueen rug (below) would be my first choice, but Hummingbird Dinner Plates and this Hummingbirds and Succulent Blossoms Art Print are also delightful.

Prefer to watch them outside rather than bringing them into your home? Then I suggest colorful feeders from J Schatz. Watching the tiny birds flit near these mod feeders would be a perfect way to usher in the spring. Beat that, horses!

Those feeders are so cute. Love the green and pink ones. Leave it to McQueen to do a hummingbird rug, of course! Bizarre, but I kind of like it…

I love hummingbirds and hummingbird decor would be amazing. I'm not thrilled about the plates and art prints shown above, they have failed to capture the likeness and spirit of the hummingbird.
