It’s that time again! Daylight Saving Time started at 2 a.m., so don’t forget to check the batteries in your smoke detectors and move the clocks in your home ahead an hour (the ones that didn’t auto-update, anyway). Despite being groggy from the lost sleep, I always like springing forward because it signals the start of the long winter thaw. I thought these spring-themed clocks from decoylab were especially appropriate for the occasion.

The little rabbit at the top looks as though he’s quite literally springing forward, and the wildflower clock reminds me of a pair of black floral flats I’ve had my eye on forever now. Losing that hour of sleep is just a little bit easier when the clocks you have to move forward are so cute. At least that’s what I tell myself.

I have a question HGTV, what happened to all of the outdoors/gardening shows that used to be on the network? Spring is almost here, and it's time to get outside and start on the yard yet there is no inspirational ideas coming from you. What's up?

It was on last Saturday — I believe it was a re-run though. Haven't seen a regularly-scheduled episode in a while — probably because they're too busy filling all the time slots with House Hunters, House Hunters International, House Hunters, House Hunters International — oh and did I mention House Hunters and House Hunters International?

Whatever happened to the shows with room design? I hate the looking for homes shows and don't watch HGTV anymore because I can't stand the shows now!!

There is no "G" in HGTV. I don't watch half as much as I used to! Million Dollar rooms? Not for me!

No real keen on alot of the news shows -seems when I do turn on the TV, all I am seeing is shows of people buying homes – who cares???? Get us something we can actually use!! Decorator shows, how to do shows, outdoor landscaping shows – something us "non-millionaire" people can use – real stuff!!!!
