So, I got to see a sneak preview of The Hunger Games last night, and while I am still processing the film as a whole (no spoilers here!), one thing that really made an impression was the visual style and design — my friend joked that the Cubist metal Cornucopia was provided by Dwell Magazine — and particularly the Capitol style. The fashions were about as outrageous as I was expecting, but I wasn’t entirely sure what their accommodations and furnishings would look like. Let’s just say this slick White & White Clock would fit right in.

Pretty minimal and futuristic, no? It’s got your standard alarm feature, so keeping it on a nightstand makes sense, but you can also mount it from the wall, which looks extra mod. I would appreciate being able to see the time at a glance in the middle of the night, but don’t worry if you’re a delicate sleeper and can’t stand the glow — there’s a built-in light sensor that dims the digits to a less intense white in the dark. I kinda love it, and bet Effie Trinket would, too.

Oooh this would be perfect for me. Since I wear contacts, I'm pretty blind at night, but I bet I could see this from 20 feet away. Love its simplicity.
