You know I love color in unexpected places, and I think a sink is definitely an unexpected place. If you’re like me but can’t commit to something like a custom hot pink sink, the Vola HV1 faucet may be for you.

 iconic faucet in fun colors

Chances are you’ve already seen this iconic ’60s-era design by Arne Jacobsen, as had I, but I did not know it came in so many different hues. The bold blue plays well with the teak countertop in the middle image, as seen in at Mjölk shop in Toronto. The Skittle-like colors make me want to say “Taste the rainbow!” ‘Cause I’m thinking this rainbow is pretty tasty.

I'm not too sure how I feel about faucets in 'fancy' colors…maybe I'm just too used to the iconic, if you will, stainless steel, chrome, brushed metal type looks.

Hmm….The colors are pretty unique. I wonder what my Waste King Coronado faucet would look like in one of those colors. Is it possible to have my faucet customized? http://www.squidoo.com/waste-king-h710-u-sn-coron

I'm not sure how I feel about these. I can see them becoming 'dated' and for the cost involved in faucets I feel a traditional metal look is a more timeless look to go with.
