Happy Easter! Prepping for family brunch or dinner? We’ve got some beautiful tablescape and entertaining ideas for you, of course, but I also quite like these Bird’s Nest Egg Cups from Shapeways.

They’re minimal and flexible, but strong enough to keep the egg sturdy and protected. Don’t the branches look so striking? And the little birdie detail could not be tweeter…err, sweeter. I’m already thinking about stocking up on these so I’ll be all prepared for next Easter. (And some Starburst jelly beans. Mmm!)

Oh my gosh, these are so dang cute! I love the contrast.
I had the most amazing Italian pastry for Easter. Come see! http://www.becauseofmadalene.com/2012/04/sfogliat…

Aren't the egg cups the cutest? Pretty different from traditional egg cups, I'd say.
Speaking of different, that pastry is so cool looking. I've never had it before — is it easy to find in places where you find prepared Italian food?
Yes, I'm sure you can find it at most Italian delis or markets. And it's so fun to eat, I like peeling off eat layer and eating them bit by bit.
