I am lucky enough to live downtown Montreal and have a huge 800 foot private deck!! We indulged and bought ourselves a huge hammock (love!) and also a zero gravity chair. We also have an entire patio set setup on the deck with loads of room to spare! We set up some outdoor lighting for festive evenings and BBQs at our place in the summer ad this year I bought some greenery for the deck. There is lots of room for improvement however… Those pillows would be a lovely touch and they match my patio set! :)

A large rectangular wood table, lots of chairs for friends, a huge canopy umbrella for shade, pots of flowers and tomato plants, the fountain running to create the ambient water sound, candles and solar lights flickering, and the piece de resistance, the cat lounging on the deck – how can you NOT relax! Would love to add the colourful cushions to the picture!

  4. Sandy Sullivan says:

I have two rocking chairs and a copper table on my back porch along with various flower pots; a very enjoyable space. The pillows would add a nice spalsh of color to the rocking chairs.

  5. I've lived in this house for just shy of a year, but after living in three different homes the previous year, I was afraid to get too comfortable. I'd love to make my porch look pretty. These cushions would help.

a small patio aerea doesn't have to be boring. i laid old bricks over the existing concrete. then i'm taking 3 4by 4 fense posts and cutting them in half and using inexpense pots or new paint cans i mix some concrete and set the posts in them. when dry i'm going to attach sturdy lattice work. i've been gathering up old pots, garage salesor severly reduced pots at the end of the season and buy large bags of potting soil at costco.add flowers and vegies some climbers for the fence, a small table paint to the mood i'm in and a table with the same flare and don't forget a comfy chair.i also love lights i buy at the end of the holiday season.thinking about a bird bath and feeder along with some old wind chimes. please remember paint is your friend and can change the mood at anytime. all this is easy to do and can bring hours of r&r or plan a small lunch or dinner with friends and neighbors.

We have a paver patio with a loveseat and two chairs in black iron and a teak bench. The grill is on it's last legs. Would love these pillows. Of course it's over 100 degrees now in Denver so we'll be back on the patio when it's back in the 80's.

  8. Aubrey says:

Our porch is open w/ a brick floor, have cast Iron chairs w/ soft cushions, lots of hanging plants, Happy Welcome Gnome, Wreath on door, plant stands w/ peace lilys, & my butterfly wind chime.

I'm 13, and I love to decorate all around the house! My mom and I have been scouring antique shops and hole-in-the-wall furniture stores and put together a lovely patio area! We have a nice big table with enough chairs for the whole family to have a meal outside, an old wooden chest that we use as a little table, a few vintage wood chairs around that, a antique iron fence that has vines growing all over it, some little old barrels that have plants in them, and just the other day we picked up some little candles in tiny buckets to make the whole space warm and comfortable! It's now a spot that we all like to go and hang out together.

  10. Cheryl says:

A couple potted grapefruit trees, potted plants/flowers and comfortable seating.

  11. Tanya says:

Your Patio area sounds so warm and welcoming Kylie! I would love to see a picture.

I just have a small portico with a wood bench and plantars, plus a flag pole on the support beam

  13. peg5 says:

welllll…our little cement area holds a table and 6 chairs, but we have an oversized driveway, so adding extra chairs when company comes isn't a problem. sometimes we throw lights on the bushes.

  14. Maureen M says:

We have a pretty bare porch.. four sage green adirondack chairs and a grill. These pillows would be a great start to a total porch makeover :)

  15. Mgrechot1 says:

On my 50's ranch porch I found great 50's white bamboo furniture, and lots of potted plants. By the front door is a vignet of a 50's aluminum cooler, and picnic supplies – all set for sumer!

  16. Michelle Taylor says:

With the typical table and chairs but I add lots of colorful potted plants in all sorts of pots around the whole area!

  17. Wendy Rohrer says:

We just had our house painted a soft green with ivory trim and reddish brown front door. We have a rocking chair front porch with dark green wicker chairs and wicker table and and green antique umbrella holder we use as a plant stand for a large fern. We have two hanging planters with impatients. Our large screened in porch has a tan wicker seating area and dark green iron table and chairs. We are looking to add color since the new paint colors are subdued.

just moved to colorado-still have florida decor. HELPPPP

  19. Sophie Byerly says:

We put red Adirondack lawn chairs on it with red canvas pillows on them for comfort. The porch is painted deep blue with a little touch of white here and there.

  20. Kim D says:

I have a home-made bench from scrap wood, an old quilt on the seat, a twig bird cage, and I added a wooded screened door.

  21. Mary K. Geier says:

I like my porch to have a tropical feel to it. I have a lounge, two chairs and a couple of small tables. The urn fountain with Boston ferns add to the feeling and the parrot hanging over the fountain makes us feel like we are in Mexico on vacation. Love to have my morning coffee outside.

  22. autumn kelly says:

Right now I just have some potted plants. I had a patio table and chairs, but they were too big. I have two wicker chairs and a table from the 1800's that I want to fix up and put on the front porch.

  23. Terry says:

Would love a hammock on my deck

I’v been working on making my patio and back yard an oasis for relaxation for friends and family for about 3 years now.Its been a little at a time as I earned the money and it has finally evolved into what I call my Santa Barbara garden. The large patio is Terra cotta stained with orange umbrellas and lime green chars for accents. The sofa and matching chairs are espresso steel and beige cushions with a fire pit in the corner for the cool evenings. These pillows would be a fabulous finishing touch!

  28. Darla Biederman says:

I like to use green plants and flowers as well as comfy indestructible furniture and a source of soft music.

  29. Tina says:

I have multiple spaces to decorate so I have our wood deck layered with a green rod iron table, with comfy rocker chairs with swings on both sides of the patio with splashes of bright red, lime green, and creams. Take 2 steps down to a paver patio with a built in fire pit with 2 vintage chairs and a red glider accented with flower pots of all heights. Then step onto the concrete patio to sit under the gazebo with lounge furniture in creams, browns, and greens which needs the pillows badly! It is sad that I spent so much time making sure the two spaces have plenty of color but forgot the gazebo!

  30. Tina says:

Our Woodstock, NY mountain home has an attached screened porch off our bedroom making it a perfect summer/spring additional room. We bought, scaled to room size, dark brown vinyl year round wicker furniture. On left side are 2 chairs with hassocks and round glass top/iron leg table in-between. On right side of porch sits small matching wicker couch caddy-corner leaving open center viewing trees with small metal table on one side of couch and outdoor wrought iron lamp on other side of couch. The color comes from vibrant red/orange furniture cushions, one floral pillow on each piece of furniture (could definitely use more) plus vibrant floral pots filled with aloe plants on each table. . Beige outdoor woven carpet with light green border helps to accent the darker furniture. We treated and decorated this "room" as part of the house's extension. Hanging chimes (Woodstock known for these) add to the charm of room.

  31. Sylvia says:

I live in loft/condo/suite which has 12' double doors that open onto a wonderful balcony patio… OOPS that must be part of my dream last night…..The doors really only open to a small 12" deep standing patio!!! I have "decorated" with a hanging pot of trailing sedums, a nice tomato bush, vining morning glories, marigolds and yellow daisies, and lastly a pot of mint. I am trying to decorate inside with indoor/outdoor rugs, furniture, and beautiful fabrics everywhere.

  32. Anita Z says:

We took out the spa which was leaking and replaced it with a wicker settee, chair, and coffee table grouping. We bought tan and green cushions in a leaf pattern and used orange pillows and an orange outdoor rug for a pop of contrasting color. A fountain mounted on the brick wall adds to the ambiance. Although we miss the spa, we actually find that we are using the deck space more as an outdoor room. It's a great place for a morning cup of coffee!

  33. Kim says:

Don't have a patio and porch too small to decorate ,but this would look beautiful on my den recliners, the red in this on my green chairs would make the room pop with color I am missing.

  34. Cheri says:

Table for 5 with a cute striped umbrella, white wicker love seat and chair, area rug and a fabulous grill!

  35. Jeannie says:

I love to decorate our back patio. In fact, I don't just decorate our patio but the whole back yard. I have a travertine/iron patio set that I place robins egg blue, brown and cream cushions on with accent pillows for each chair then place coordinating pillows on our double teak lounge bed. I then place cushions and pillows on our built in bench next to the backyard kitchen. I extend the colors to the trellis behind the pool and spa by hanging curtains on them then plant flowers in the 3 foot high pots to continue the line of color to meet the back of the pool. I accent the tables with lanterns that have sand and seashells in them. I also use cream colored ceramic fire containers around the pool for night time.

  36. 2 wood rockers, rustic metal shelving, fresh flowers and the folks I love!

  37. cheryl says:

with outdoor furniture and happy people all over the place.

  38. Don Shoup says:

We have a south facing desk with a Softtub hottub and green patio table and chairs. Those pillows would brighten up the deck.

  39. lduttinger says:

I envy people who know how to decorate outside. I just purchased a townhouse with a small fenced yard. I have a glass table and burnt orange chairs out there. I have no clue how to move forward. Maybe these pillows can be a start of the inspiration I need.

  40. Diana says:

On my enclosed front porch I decorate with a set of vintage cast iron furniture in the "greek key" pattern, A room sized sisal rug on the floor, a bamboo hutch filled (not overfilled) with colorful painted wooden objects, and lots and lots of plants in the summertime. Sheers on the windows and a window box of flowers.

  41. Karen says:

I love bright colors, so my porch is very vibrant with lots of layers and flowers!

  42. Kim T says:

    with your own great style!

  43. Shamaron says:

I would love to decorate it but don't have a clue where to start, no inspiration at all and having 4 little boys under 9 doesn't help either. Maybe I need yard crashes for my huge yard with only a kids playset and no privacy! I would love those pillows for a vibrant, loud accent kinda like my personality.

  44. Sue says:

My deck is not large, but comfortable chairs placed to encourage conversation, a small t
able to hold a drink and a snack and lots of planted greenery- with a hummingbird feeder close

  45. Kayla says:

On my porch I have a hot tub, porch swing, grill, and a few potted plants. Nothing very fancy, but it's a nice shady spot to sit and read.

  46. Ron Miller says:

Table, Chairs, grill, if it weren't for the fact it was outside, it'd be a mancave!

  47. Debbi says:

A place to grill, comfortable outdoor table and chairs, looking out to a lush lawn and flower beds.

  48. Cass M says:

Two red wicker chairs that are pining for some comfy pillows with green to pop off them! Would attract more hummingbirds to our feeders!
