As of last year, HGTV and Sherwin-Williams have teamed up to bring you HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams. This line is chock-full of beautiful and inspirational color collections that make painting easy. Each collection offers a variety of hues, patterns and decals that work together, no matter which set of colors within the collection you end up choosing. They have literally taken all the guesswork out of the color matching process for you, making your next home decorating project virtually stress-free.

I’m excited to announce the newest HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams products: wallpaper and exterior paint. By choosing one of the eight color collections, you can then narrow down an exterior paint color, interior colors and even wallpaper patterns to create a room-to-room color flow. Now that’s beautiful. And with color palette names like Neutral Nuance and Livable Luxe, how can you resist? Plus, if you’re torn between several palettes (like I was), there’s a quiz to help narrow things down and choose the collection that suits you best. Take the Quiz and Find Your Color Style >>

My quiz results are revealed at the bottom, but in the meantime, I couldn’t help but share a few of my favorite wallpaper patterns from some of the color collections. Go ahead and take a look!

As you can imagine, this collection draws inspiration from the sea, tying in aqueous hues of blue and green in various tones. I’m most drawn to this pattern, not because of its coastal influence, but because of its vintage and retro-inspired look.

With energy, optimism and eclectic flair, Color Pizazz pulls in vibrant, upbeat colors. I could see this luscious pattern in my living room, where bold, bright colors are a must for me.

Neutral Nuance offers a neutral color palette with soft hints of color. In this dining room, the gray pattern infuses a subtle shade of yellow for a soothing and sophisticated backdrop.

Livable Luxe is known for putting a bit of a twist on classic colors and themes. In this bedroom, for example, the floral pattern may seem traditional, but when combined with hues of metallic silver and gray, the wallpaper feels fresh and updated.

Known as “indulgent, exotic and versatile,” Global Spice pulls in sweet and spicy colors like Peppery, Grandeur Plum and Edamame to form a rich and worldly palette. This wallpaper pattern ties in my favorite of the two (Plum and Edamame) for a unique and enchanting look that would fit well in any globally-inspired home.

So, what do you think of the first few collections I shared with you? Amazing, right? After taking the quiz, I was paired with the Color Pizazz palette, which is coincidentally (or not!) my favorite. Which collection were you paired with? Or, which one is your absolute favorite? Tell us in the comments below!

Global Spice is way too dark for my taste. But I love Neutral Nuance.

Coastal Cool is absolutely relaxing. I can imagine the candles burning and a mango mojito. And the Neutral Nuance is perfect for this "non-morning" person to enjoy a nice coffee latte. And, now I am wondering why I left such a beautiful beach front community. We always had some room in the house with turquoise and the bedroom with coral. Can't wait to see what the end result is.

I like the wall hanging on the Global Spice photo.

  6. Peggy Mayo says:

Sherwin Williams has the best paint by far.

I don't like any of these, they remind me of an old magazine I have on kitchens, I think the sixties or seventies. At the time everyone thought they were fantastic but now when you look at them you think hideous. The big patterns on the wallpaper, the stark furniture, yuk.

    ;) )))

That's just like something my buddy, John Hayson, would say. After all, who wants to live in a drab house?
