For the past few weeks I’ve been all about red. As I’m typing this, I’m wearing a lipstick-red dress with matching red nails in OPI’s “Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It.” I. Love. Red. I knew for my inaugural mood board post, I wanted to pull in a favorite color (and one of this fall’s hottest hues). This is a bit brighter than classic red and it’s got a lacquered finish that truly shines.

Lovin' the red fridge! Overall I think a pop of red can really add something special to a room. Too much though could be a bit hard on the eyes depending on your color tolerance.

I totally agree, Amy. I think a red side table, lamp or print can add just the perfect amount of color without being "too much." I love seeing some truly all-red rooms, but I'm not sure if they would work for me 24/7.
