[Cue Will Smith's 1998 classic "Miami" for this entire post.]
I normally hate choosing favorites, but this is definitely my favorite Urban Oasis yet. Located in one of Miami’s top waterfront locations, this contemporary apartment provides both calming views of the water and enticing Miami nightlife just steps away. New York and Chicago both had drool-worthy views, but there’s just something about the Biscayne Bay that draws me in. I think I could live on the terrace and be perfectly content.
Terrace
You do know that you could live here, right? You have 48 days left to enter to win this high-rise home in South Florida. Between now and October 15, enter twice online per day — once on HGTV.com and once on FrontDoor.com — for your chance to win! I seriously doubt you need a reminder to enter (I mean, just look at this place!), but just in case, let’s take a quick tour.
Foyer
Interior designer Linda Woodrum uses big, bold artwork in the expansive foyer to welcome guests to Miami.
Kitchen
The contemporary kitchen is inspired by blues from the Biscayne Bay and features gold Calacatta marble and cabinetry installed to ceiling height.
Living Room
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room provide stunning views of Miami Beach and the bay, further inspiring the room’s color palette of blues and greens.
Terrace
An eight-foot terrace overlooking the Biscayne Bay is the perfect place for entertaining guests or relaxing year round.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is truly one-of-a-kind with an eye-catching rustic wooden wall treatment, canopy bed, bubble ceiling sconce, French hotel-style linens and a hand-loomed area rug. And you can’t forget those floor-to-ceiling windows that look right out to the water.
Master Bathroom
The spa-style master bathroom is simply an elegant continuation of the bedroom with a contemporary furniture-style vanity covered in matte marble. Glass subway tile creates a stunning backsplash above the vanity and acts as an accent in the spacious shower.
Guest Bedroom
Guests will be more than happy to reside in this tranquil retreat during their stay. The suite comes with a lounge area overlooking the water, full bathroom and walk-in closet. They may never want to leave!
So, are you just as blown away as I am by these contemporary, beachfront digs? Tell us your take on Urban Oasis 2012 below.
And don’t forget to enter twice daily (once on HGTV.com and once on FrontDoor.com) for your chance to win this home for yourself!

I love Miami and the Urban Oasis! Yes, the views from the 20th floor of this apartment are spectacular! And, I agree…….this is my favorite Oasis so far. I most definitely will not forget to enter twice per day to win this one.
What a breathtaking apartment.
I already live in Miami and get little peaks of the bay from my current apartment, but BOY would I love to have this apartment. It's GORGEOUS and in an up-and-coming part of town with an awesome park nearby. In fact, we were supposed to do our wedding photos in that park (unfortunately, it practically monsooned on our wedding day and we had to move everything indoors).
I know that the 2012 HGTV Green Home had some open houses where you could actually visit the house… any plans to do the same for this apartment? I'd love to be able to see it in person, even if I don't win it
Incredible views!
This apartment is a nightmare! I watched on TV and could not believe some of the things in that apartment. When I look at furniture, light fixtures etc. to purchase, I look at them with the eye on the amount of dusting they require. I hated that clear glass shower!!! The views were nice. How much are the condo fees per month?
Excited to see just how more stunning this apartment
I have never been to Florida &
Looks in person!! I absolutely love everything
From all the wall colors to furniture. Perfect
And very live able too! I wouldn't change a
single thing
Another fun adventure for me
I am all about the master bedroom, especially the wall treatment. Also: I've been singing "Welcome to Miami" in my head all morning…so thanks for that.
Ah….ready to move in tomorrow! Beautiful ambiance….you guys have outdone yourself!
WOW SEXY!!!!!!!!!!
My sister and her husband just sold their condo in Hollywood Beach because he has taken a new job and had to move to another state. Now we are all going into Florida withdrawal. This would be the perfect cure. The apartment is beautiful and the view is breath taking.
I have a question about the building its self though. What are the windows made of? I am curious because of the hurricanes that go through the area at times. How hurricane resistant are they?
With all the hard work you have all put into the apartment I wouldn't want anything to happen to it.
glamourjanet
As "retirees", after working hard for 40+ years, wouldn't it be nice to have some glamour in our lives? This would be the "ideal" spot to spend the rest of our years….in glamour, elegance, and warmth. I'd love this for my wife of 36 years! Imagine! She would be well taken care of and be in the climate that would make her feel like 30 again!
Relaxing, calming and beautiful !!!! The view is ………… Peaceful !!!!!!!!
Great space! What are the condo Fee's? . Does the prize come with cash also?
Nancy Wow we live in Wa. state near wenatchee and Love Florida. This would be the most Awesome winter/or year round place I could think of. Love it.
Does anyone know what the monthly condo fee is on this gorgeous unit? What about the property tax?
Lindsay Pumpa – GREAT JOB! I appreciate all of your hard work and influence on this project!
In the name of the Lord this apartment will be of my family! We love HGTV's family and my mother has a "crush" with David Bromstad!!!
In fact, the huge mirror that is right in front of the elevator, was used in one of the episodes of "Color Splash". What I can say? We just LOVE the HGTV family
WHO??? wouldnt love this space…whatever fees involved ..it would alll be worth it….yeppers..I can dig it!
just entered to win it, then looked at it. (now probably will win….and sell it fast) Oh, Vern. Wassup with the not 1 but 3 porcelain urns etc outside the elevator? even the wood and carpet textures can't keep it feeling like a restroom… and the front hall- what kind of a doorstop?- no, it's a leather covered "bench"- looks an old radiator on a diet- go ahead, put down yours keys, woops, fell thru….
Like the water relection in the artwork, BUT the leaves are done, done ….argh- they're in the bedroom, too.
The kitchen is cool….or should I say cold, BRRR! open to brrr- living. Well, it's ready for a color…even TAN! Cannot take any more.
Just am not liking it, Vern. I am shocked, too. The NYC tiny but truly well done habitat last year, had me set up for ….what you CAN do.
u can use the sharktooths (art) as one of the chainsaws needed here.
Everyone has the same question ? Hoa fee's and do they have a no pet policy?
What awesome views and I could live on the terrace/1
I like art post on
furnished apartments Miami , thanks for sharing
What's most impressive about these rooms is that they almost take you to a whole other place. It's easy to forget that, technically, you're still in the middle of one of the busiest cities in the world.
When you look at Miami that way and in those weather conditions, it definitely looks every bit an urban oasis. Just remember to batten down the hatches once storm season rolls in though and you should be fine.
