If this hue doesn’t scream fall, I don’t know what does. Mustard yellow (or mustard gold), to me, is reminiscent of changing leaves, pea coats and warm wool sweaters. If you look way back into the Color of the Month archives, you’ll find that a similar color, Marigold, won our hearts in November of last year. We all thought it was the perfect color to represent the season. It’s warm, comforting and vibrant in its own right. What’s not to love?

  1. _Love fall colors rock the house. My german shepards love the falling leaves and no snakes out.

My yard is covered with poplar's yellow leaves, the grass in the pasture is dry and orange, my sheep are longing for spring greens, the chickens are longing for bugs, but I love autumn.
    Great post and images.
