I’m the happiest girl in the world when I receive quality snail-mail. You know, postcards, thank you cards, invitations, etc. (It’s the little things.) But, can you imagine opening up your mailbox to a slice of “cake” that doubles as a postcard?! SheKnows contributing DIY expert Sandra Denneler shares this creative version of a greeting card perfect for any occasion. It’s not edible, but it will certainly put a smile on a loved one’s face, that’s for sure.

Make a mailable slice of cake at SheKnows.com. Not a crafter? That’s okay! Head over to TangBaby’s Etsy shop to purchase mailable cake slices for less than $20.

Well these are just the cutest things ever. So creative and now I'm hungry.
I thought the same thing when I first saw these (food time!)
I want one of these just to have and not mail.
Oh, that is a very lovely postcard. My hubby would definitely be surprised with this if I give him one. Thank you for sharing this great information.
Best,
Coleen

Well, at least that gets rid of one little problem. No more need to either throw the letter away or store it in an increasingly cramped box. You can just make a snack out of it after reading it.
