Want to have a totally organic experience? Try crafting with something all-natural, like apples! October is National Apple Month, so there’s no better time to buy a bushel. Eating an apple a day may keep the doctor away, but crafting with apples is sure to keep boredom at bay.

apple votives

You’re probably putting candles in pumpkins right about now, but placing votives in carved apples is equally appealing, as seen on Design Mom. For an extra seasonal touch, try floating the apples in a tub of water. (Just don’t bob for them later!)

apple wreath
Proof that dried apples make delicious snacks AND delightful decor? This dried apple wreath. Throw some acorns and star anise into the mix for added autumnal pizzazz like By L. Michelle has done here.

apple banner
For an actually-pretty fall craft you can make with kids, check out this burlap banner from Multiples & More. Apple stamps have never seemed so elegant.

apple cups
‘Tis the season for apple cider! If you’re hosting a Halloween party, serve it up in carved apple cups like these beauties from Gimme Some Oven. Cinnamon stick straws are a must.

apple swag
Though I spotted this DIY apple swag on The Bride’s Cafe, it’s not strictly wedding decor. How sweet would this be for a fall-themed birthday or a back-to-school party?

This was a great blog. Great craft ideas for apples. Personally the apple swag has intrigued me. That could even be done with artificial apples if you couldn't get real ones. Love this.
